@@jimnfl7134 join the club… we’ve been preaching that all season and still got 13 W’s… and the defense has adjusted SUPER late and looked better (honestly not saying much) than mid season. They should also be healthier now, and if Ed Donatell doesn’t revert back to Donashell the defense might actually do just fine. Because it wasn’t talent that was the problem. It was coaching and scheme. Can’t do anything about the scheme now, but coaching has taken a step forward.

You won’t be back because captain choke did again in the biggest game of the season, he does what he always does, looks great in the regular season but when you need it most, he throws 4 yards when you need 8, and the season goes up in smoke. The really great ones find a way to win, and he just leaves a bad taste in everyone’s mouth!
I forgot how good Kirk's run in that Cardinals game was, people give him crap, but once he gets rolling he was MOVING!
To increase our chances of winnings, I think Kirk needs to start thinking about running more when no one is opened to throw to.

I'm a Packers fan, but I respect the hell out of what the Vikings have achieved this season. With Lions also on an upward trajectory, it's gonna be a competitive division next year

Let’s go vikes! Listening to Stephen a talk ish of Kirk makes me smile because he is like our hidden treasure. Everyone that actually watches the games loves him. He’s been more clutch this year than any in his career and yet the national media stomps him down every week. No matter what happens I’m proud of this team, Kirk and the way we play 😉
I never understood the "he can't perform when the lights are bright" criticism, if you actually watch the games he's rock solid. I'm not saying the receivers aren't great, but when a guy puts the ball in exactly the right place it sure helps a lot, and people don't sleep on Justin Jefferson but they do on Kirk for some reason, yet somehow everyone forgets that 1,800 yard season JJ had, every single one of those balls came from Kirk Cousins.
@@djjazzyjeff1232 Can you understand now? J&D made a video about how he is quite literally the worst primetime QB in NFL history. His QBR and win percentage is terrible on Monday night.
Jefferson makes amazing plays and catches that should have been thrown better. Did you see that insane catch against the Bills? That's not "putting the ball in the right place." When you HAVE to throw the ball 40 times a game because your defense is terrible, that's a big reason why Jefferson is getting so many yards, too.
A 3-yard pass on 4th and 8, a kneel instead of a spike, and lining up behind the guard instead of the center just prove why Cousins is a dolt and unfit to be a starting NFL QB.
@@encycl07pedia- No I still don't believe it, they lost the game against the Giants but it had nothing to do with Cousins, when they finally got to play they ended up scoring in about 90 seconds. The Defense is the only thing holding back the Vikings. They were 13-4 FFS.
@@djjazzyjeff1232 Yeah, that failed 4th down conversion had nothing to do with the loss. You're totally right. Not scoring when you know your defense is terrible has nothing to do with Cousins.
The fact that the Vikings were 13-4 shows how many times Cousins has been there before, bailed them out in the regular season. But in the postseason, it's choke city. At least he had that OT win against the Saints, otherwise he'd have absolutely 0 playoff wins.

Calif now NM, Vikings fan for life, 65, remember the purple people eaters, fran Tarkington grew up with eight brothers am the youngest, so of course being from Cali, their the Raiders ,RAMs , chargers and 9ers in the family, but being the youngest and not going for a Cali team, but a Minnesota team well you get the picture all I can say to them is " HOW YOU LIKE ME NOW !!" My bucket list #1 is go see my team at US Bank...we do need to get more preparation and faster , pass rush, and secondary needs to step it up 2 notches if we're goona take this

If we took your outlook and applied it to every game we had this season we'd be easily 0-16, and yet here we are 13-4 and with a chance! That's more than most vikings teams can say over the years. Who knows what happens a week, 2 or more from now, but there's all the reason in the world to believe. And hey, if it doesn't happen this season, the good thing is that there is always next season-barring a world altering catastrophe-so we just have to make the most of what we have now!
That was fun to watch, thanks for putting that together. This has been the most exciting season since the Favre season, hope we can put it together in the playoffs!

Not sure how far they'll go in the playoffs because they've beaten teams like Buffalo but they've lost to dregs like the Packers.

All I know is this - Aaron is staying home. As he should. He threw horrible passes against Detroit tonight and then tried to lay it off on the receiver.
His heart ain't in it any more. Now Aaron's just sitting back collecting his checks riding it out. He's done playing meaningful football, that's my prognosis.

1. The "experts" like to say great quarterbacks elevate the play of those around them.
How is sitting on the bench by yourself with a scowl instead of going to the player you have a performance issue with to work out the miscue elevating anyone's play?
