You're right! You only live once so open the boxes. I'm the same with my sneaker collection, I wear them all. Most sneaker collectors keep them stashed away in boxes, never wear them and they end up crumbling after 20 year's.
Time will definitely ruin things, I'm so glad I ended up inboxing all these , now I can enjoy them 😊

New prices are crazy high for the quality you get and that community is full of drama queens and flat out man-baby bitches. Tired of the toxicity with them all. As you can see with a few of my shorts, figure collecting is and has been my first love for over 20 years now. Started collecting at around 15. Keep up the good content man.

I am currently in a similar situation where I have aTON of boxed figures. Definitely gonna use some of these techniques!
It's definitely worth opening them up! U only live once and might as well touch them somehow, lol. Just save the boxes if u ever want to flip them , that's what I do...they might take up room in storage but I know it will help me in the long run get that little bit extra when I do sell them.

I ordered eternity so I'm sure I'll need another shelf for that one lol. I'm gonna wait on the orgins snake mountain to keep everything the same brand . I hope they release the slime pit , that would be cool. I'll definitely do a tour of the rest of my toy room by the end of the year !

Some good and great ideas. The concrete wall paper is great. The dumb idea is sticking the background images to the wall. A better approach cutting plywood, paneling, pegboard, or some other cheap rigid material and bolting them to the shelves. Then, you can apply the image to the new backing. This eliminates the vertical columns from breaking up the image, and eliminates the potential for figures and accessories to fall behind the shelf
The stuff I have holding them to the walls doesn't hurt the wall or the poster paper and I can take them off easily, so if n when I move the display, it won't be a issue. As fsr as your idea , I did that on my other displays next to this, and i wasn't that happy having to screw in the back boards to make the backgrounds. Thanks for checking this video out 💯

Thanks man! Like I mentioned in the video, I went to Staples and had them blow up the images then I had them cut them down to the size I needed. Staples has different options on paper so I asked for a higher quality poster paper so I wouldn't worry about it ripping easy. They did a excellent job and had my order ready the next day. Only thing is is wasn't cheap at all ( 100 for the top pic n 100 for all the bottom images together ) but if your wanting something to that your gonna use for more then a year , I recommend it.

I'm definitely going to be paying a hefty price for the more big-ticket Items in the Origins collection, but I have a voice acting career I'm tryin' to get off the ground. So, it will be worth it. I already have Eternia crossed off the list, and I am an Early Backer, so King Grayskull is secured. Just wished Mattel would have set the bar a bit lower so we could have gotten Keclar, or have made King Grayskull the 10K reward as opposed to making him an Early Bird Exclusive. Some of the other Early Birds have become quite egotistic because of it.

Good question! I used 2 hooks for all of the vehicles besides skeletor n the other figures. I works great 💯. You can see how steady it holds up in my Buzz-Off and Whiplash motu commercial I posted when you see Buzz-Off flying, lol 😆 hope that helps !

I think I'll end up adding a table or perhaps change the shelves altogether depending on how much room eternia takes up, but regardless, snake mountain would be on the bottom, n ill have to change the background.
