One Solo X 15 in a custom box with that single KXA 2400.1 he has would destroy the previous setup he had with the 2 L7's. The setup he has now is so hindered by his current subwoofer box that it would have been better to have built a custom box for the L7's because that prefab box is hindering those subs too.

I like the fact you’re doing this video. The outcome will not show the Solo X’s full potential due to the box not being specd and the amp will barely move them. I have (2) X 12’s on 3700 rms and they are laughing at that power.

Agreed, he would get more for the money buying or building a custom enclosure. These Solo X 15's are not drop-in replacements for the L715. Also yes he is going to need a second one of those 2400 amps for those subs or more, preferably gain match sense the subs in this case share the same air space ... This is the thing I love about car audio. You mess around and find out. Keep testing! .... Suggestion: Go ahead and look into a new enclosure. Port Tuning, mounting and air space will differ. But I do understand the need in the mean time. You gotta have something until then. Basshead doing basshead things, Bass on!!! I'd love to get my hands on those but waiting on the 18" Solo X.

Glad you made this video. When you get time, build or have someone build you a box for 1 of those and have another one built for 2. I have one solox 15 in a box built to spec (5 cubes) and 1 JL 1500 on each coil and its still not enough power for it but it gets down. I have it in an Audi Q7. I also have a solox 12 in my lexus es350 powered by two strapped JP2300 at 2ohm. Now that set up is killing the all the notes. You need more power so the sub will see more power after rise ao you need more available. Enjoy your subs. You should probably sell one of those 15s cause i promise you only need one. I plan to get the 18 too when it comes out. I have not need to try the 10

Also both models of subs are the same size the main difference is the size of the surround being significantly bigger and therefore the corners have been re-engineered to allow the massive amount of excursion the SoloX7 is capable of.... Also usually anybody who spends the kind of money on a pair of woofers like SoloX 15's is going to either build a box according to existing box designs for these woofers, have a custom box made for them or spend the big bucks and spring for a Gately Audio box! There really is no point in buying these if you're only ever going to run them in a very thin single layer MDF Qbomb prefab which is literally tacked together with brad nail and some wood glue 😂 if you had some real power to feed them they'd blow that poor box apart within playing your first song!

@biggdame21 the fuq? Did you not see what this series was about? It was intended on or for those who only wanted to upgrade their subs. People spend lots of money on enclosures, and like myself, they may not want to switch out their box. For example, you have an impala SS with a blow through. You have the Chevy Cross ✝️ as your port into the cab, You want more bass to feel it I your chest. And the company you already have the subs for (kicker 10, 12, 15s all L7class) has a sub available, that's better so you think hey, buy it! thinking, Ok same company, same L7 line, it should bolt up , and you order them....... Welllllll it comes, your expecting a bolt in application because you didn't order an L5 or a round sub you ordered a 10, 12, or 15ich L7 sub from them. And it come smaller.....Now everyone who has that custom box is fucked . Because now to suit, all the commenters and dreamers who cant afford these subs wana put their two cents in, and wana say , "it doesn't matter if the new sub is smaller, you must spend the money to accommodate the smaller sub and buy a new fucking box! "
( off topic but I Wana talk shit to the dumb fuck who mentioned engines and Boring out an engine in comparison to these subs, because he was retarded. ) Simply because, when you bore an engine out, you make the hole bigger, has nothing to do with the stroke. And I said kicker was all about cone area with the square subs, over there circular subs because more cone area, ment more air movement, their words not mine!
So, that dummy said something about the engine and boring the engine out in comparison to the cone area and stroke. There's absolutely no correlation because if you bore an engine out, the hole gets wider , but the stroke doesn't get any longer!)
But I suggest watching the series, read a few comments, and see if someone already said similar dumb s#!+
