Hi Dave, 1:50 you mention if you touch the clutch or brakes it stops regen but 1.6 tdi does a regen while I’m driving in traffic sometimes and I use the brakes and clutch but still continues to regen untill soot level drops to 5.5g
Hi. PLEASE HELP! My car has gone into limp mode, Ive taken out the dpf and sent it of to a company to get it cleaned. Recieved it back I've put it back in but it's still in limp mode and soot levels are at 57%. Is there anything I can do? Im using Carista. Please HELP.
Hi Dave. i have the dpf app. How do i get the bluetooth odb reader to connect to the head unit. the dpf app wants the odb reader to be paired to the head unit. i've got the exact setup as you. same odb reader and head unit
It's the ash residue that kills a dpf. Soot is what gets burned off leaving ash residue....some engines measure in grams and some measure in litres, don't know why. Not sure what is considered high as some dpfs hold more than others
Has your car previously been mapped? I know of 1 other person who didn't have dpf regeneration....his car had been mapped by Revo and they locked the ecu so he couldn't force a regeneration
@@whatsdavedone104 just one last thing i was looking at the bluetooth obs mdule on ebay it mentioned a subscription service to have all features, is that correct

What error codes are you getting? Dpf pressure sensor could be bad 🤔

Carista won t tell you when regen is over?
No but you will notice 2 things, recs will drop and number of grams will stay static or start to increase again

Dave two questions can you advise on how you brought the templ of the dpf down and secondly i should be able to use carista on my 2014 tiguan right
Yea you can use carista on 2014 Tiguan...the dpf cools with air flow, I didn't do anything myself to cool it.

Did you use Google chrome to download...won't work if you don't use chrome
