Floraiku fragrances are $250 on their own website, if anyone is interested. Still pretty expensive, but $100 is quite a big difference. Lauren, I hope you do a house review soon, now that you have the discovery set! Would love to hear your thoughts on the brand!
Oh wow!! I didn’t realize they were that much on their own site! Definitely a way better price than on TL! I have no idea why they are marked so differently! I will hopefully be able to get a house review up in Jan! 😊😊
@@laurenmaefragrance I just checked again and saw that they have a separate website for USA only where they cost $350 and a separate website for the rest of the world where they cost $255 🥲 Such a huge difference and for one country only, it's ridiculous! I've noticed that most brands are a lot more expensive in the US than here in Europe 🙁

I just received my Ledda fragrance and while I really love the scent of it I didn’t have that “oh I’ve never smelled anything like this” reaction that everyone says. Immediately reminded me of something and I also picked up on the Ellis Brooklyn sun fruit vibes which I LOVE. So I’m not mad but so far the lasting power of Ledda isn’t the best but it’s beautiful

My husband ordered the Kayali sampler set and a full bottle of the vanilla 28 that also came with a small cherry-whats it called. I am SOOO excited, I mean I wonder what Santa brought me this year? lol I find that the perfumes I end up falling in love with are so $$$$ I am glad Kayali is "affordable"

Hi Lauren, I’m starting to get more into perfumes and for Black Friday I got Lost in Translation from Maison Matine and 3 discovery sets from Sylvaine Delacourte, 2 French brands and I’m so excited to wear them. ✨
Oh man, I just got my little 1oz baby bottle of YSL Libre Le delivered a few hours ago and I'm going feral over how much I love this perfume. I already enjoyed the initial spritz I tested out when I managed to get to a Sephora on a trip (I no longer have a local one), but now that this has hung out on my skin for much longer it's SO warm and cozy and delicious - and STRONG, but not overpowering or obnoxious. It's funny that I'm not normally a big amber fan, it just makes me think of baby powder, but somehow the way the amber is layered in this specific perfume just makes me HANGRY in the best possible way. I've thoroughly loved the entire experience of it on me from initial spray to first dry down to now and I'm so happy I have it.
Unfortunately I've also discovered that I'm head over heels for Tom Ford's Oud Wood and Tobacco Vanille, and Kilian Paris' Angels Share and Apple Brandy, and I'm internally screaming over their price tags LOL.
Le Parfum is such a gorgeous designer fragrance 🤤 It’s this warm candied ginger effect with the saffron and orange blossom and I will be wearing the hell out of it on cold nights. There’s something about it that screams Scarlett O’Hara to me. Vintage glamour naughty southern debutante woman
I just got a new perfume called God is Fire and it’s amazing, probably more of a summer scent in my opinion- can’t wait to see how it smells in the heat of summer 🥰

Would love to see what you think of Fenty's perfume too. I really love it but it sorta reminds me of something like Kayali Elixir 11 and I love that one. A Rose+Patchouli scent. Of course there are other things in each scent that differ. But I've been liking that one a lot. And after a few hours I love it even more.
Nemat Vanilla and also their amber / spray Kayali musk 12 on top it’s divine last so long just stunning. The best is it’s so affordable.. Loving that beautiful 😍 little Christmas tree

Hi I love your videos so much just wanted to say thanks for posting. Also I wanted to say that I feel like your knowledge of makeup and fragrance is so wide, and the vocabulary you use in your videos is so descriptive. I do have a video request (no worries if you can’t make this or don’t want to just wanted to throw it out there) of how to start a fragrance journey? You’ve inspired me to actually get into perfumes, but it’s a really overwhelming sector I’m wondering if you could break down the different things to look for when looking for a fragrance and things to maybe avoid. Thank you again for all you do!

I have the Nemat Amber oil and I wish it had more staying power and was a bit stronger, but I do like it.
Have you tried Prada Paradoxe yet??? The opening reminds me of Killians Love Don't Be Shy. YUM! and it is addicting. It's one of those fragrances the more I wear it - the more I want to wear it. And I will be thinking about it when I'm not wearing it lol. It is a good one!
I just bought the Soki London Empress perfume. It had a lot of mixed reviews but I thought it was so nice!! I would love to see what you think of it. It’s like a sweeter caramel kind of strawberry scent

I picked up my new fave fragrance, Tom Ford Ebene Fume. It’s pricey but just so good. It’s very unisex and would smell great on a man too

For example : i'm more a fruity scent girl (i loooooove light yummy fruit scents : I type fruity in the search bar and I get overwhelmed by the choices) I would love your opinion (you describe the scents so well I swear I can smell what you are describing through the screen🤣 even if you dont particularly love it you stay neutral and suggest who is it for 💜)
And I see some fragrance experts finding dupes for higher end perfumes (not every perfume is a dupe for something else of course)

I finally got a sample of Baccarat Rouge 540 and it is everything! Well at least that is my first impression. It seems a bit more refined than cloud which I bought not knowing it was considered a clone. If this fragrance doesn’t make me feel sick I’m afraid I’ll be spending all my Christmas money on a bottle 😂 but actually I bought the for her discovery set. I’ve been almost desperate (no actually desperate) to try BR540 😂

Is 22 Orris anything like Sunny Side Up from Juliet Has a Gun? The notes look similar
Honestly I don’t think it is very similar. There is a tangy fruitiness to my nose. Like I am surprised it is pear leaf and not actual pear fruit in the notes. Sunny Side Up to me is more creamy and laconic with the sandal wood and doesn’t have a fruity almost semi tropical smell that I get from Orris 22. I am still testing the dry down though!
