Midnight fantasy is a powerhouse for lasting and actually doesn’t come off as a celeb scent. One I’ll prob always have in my collection. Seductive, comforting and super nostalgic. It has a plum note which I don’t and when I first got it, didn’t have many off and it gives it a roundness. I could hear you DESCRIBE a scent all day. You have a GIFTT 💝 for it
I love midnight fantasy as well! I worked at Kohl's 10+ years ago and fell in love with Escada Moon Sparkle there. Working the jewelry counter, I would just roam and try perfumes 😂
I couldn’t stand that one, such a sharp juvenile smell i gave it to my 9 year old.

With the pandemic, I got into the Podcast Smell Ya Later, which led to blind-buying Cloud, and then into a whole slew of blind-buying from discount sites and Ross's, mostly celebrity. My last order was from Fragrancebuy, a Canadian discounter that actually had SJP Stash in stock. Before the pandemic, my only celeb scent was KP Killer Queen, which I reserved for bombshell fall moments. Now that I have a huge stash, I no longer feel a need to be so precious.
No kidding about the trends. The musky ones (Glossier You, etc) and Cloud types are going to remind me of this era.
Lol fellow Canadian here. Also grabbed Stash while it’s around. I like it a lot. Masculine leaning to me. But I’m cool with that. Doesn’t last very long tho.
I recently blind bought Kim Kardashian's Pure Honey at Marshalls for $17. I don't know why I bought it since I'd never heard of it. I'm not a fan of KK and honestly didn't even know she had a line of perfumes. This smells like a perfumed soap, a bottle of 1980's suntan lotion and a jar of honey had a baby. Why do I love it so much?! I find myself reaching for it when I want a comfy, stay-at-home scent. It's just so pretty to me.
I also really love Elizabeth and James Nirvana Amethyst and Nirvana Bourbon. They're getting harder to find, but are worth it if you like tobacco or cedar leaning unisex scents.

The Katy Perry perfume accessory was a solid perfume necklace! The pendant is a cat head that opens. I still have mine, I couldn't get rid of it!
I loved watching your first impressions on these blind buys! I just made a blind buy Fragrancenet purchase a few days ago and I’m excited and so nervous all at the same time, ahhhh!
My favorite inexpensive scents are Chacharel Yes I am, Elizabeth Arden Green Tea, and Vera Wang Princess. I’m usually more disappointed by celebrity and designer blind buys than I am satisfied with those purchases though. Also, after falling in love with Kayali Musk 12, I purchased some very cheap musks from Walmart, Jovan White Musk and Coty Vanilla Musk, to tide me over while I was waiting for more musk scents to arrive in the mail, and those two together almost gave me the effect I was looking for but of course they have no lasting power.
Favorite cheapies I’ve picked up from discount sites/discount stores. Guess double dare (regular dare smells terrible). It’s fresh/floral/fruity. Moschino fresh. An all time favorite of mine. Comes in a bottle that looks like windex but smells so fresh and fun! Surprisingly long lasting. Britney Spears electric fantasy- Donna born in Roma vibes but fruitier. English Laundry- Oxford bleu femme. It smells…blue! Like fresh laundry, spring and blueberry even though there is no blueberry note. I love to wear it to bed and use as a linen spray. I found a big bottle of Oxford bleu femme for 12.99 at Marshall’s. It’s quite a bit more online! Paris Hilton can can burlesque (better than regular can can). It’s just a pretty fruity fragrance. Another goodie is from Target. Solinotes- tonka bean smells about 90% the same as my expensive bottle of Tom Ford Lost Cherry. It’s really good and long lasting and it’s $20.
I love that you started a fragrance channel. As someone whose 1 and only perfume was discontinued 💔 I am searching for what’s next. I cannot find anything like it. So, I’m listening to all your descriptions waiting to hear something that perks my ears up! You’re so good at describing and picking up the notes. Thank you!

@@stephaniec4766 Of course! 😀 Stella by Stella McCartney. I know it’s rose based - but every other rose perfume I’ve smelled (or that is supposedly a dupe) is nothing like it. I think it’s not just the rose. It’s fresh and clean and light and soft without being too crisp OR too powdery. I can’t really verbalize it. I’m not as good with descriptions!
It's been a long time since I smelled Stella and it wasn't one I wore a lot, so I'm not as familiar with it as you'll be, but I do remember it from my days on the fragrance counters! I KNEW I'd smelt something that reminded me of it not too long ago so I went digging through my (extensive, lol) fragrance notes and it was Fashionably London from Zara! Unfortunately I don't know how close it is since I can't compare them, it's possibly a touch more powdery than Stella (on my skin anyway) but I think Zara do it in the mini travel size now so might be worth trying if you're not able to sample it in store?
These next ones are errr, let's call them wildcards, in case you want to go on a mini fragrance adventure haha... They're not the same but they might get you somewhere in the right ballpark!
Extraordinary Petale by Oscar De La Renta has a similar-ish peony/rose/citrus with a musky amber base, on me it was more floral than I remember Stella being, but it's a decent cheapie if you can find it to test.
Peony & Peppercorn from Banana Republic is a clean, fresh rose and peony combo with a tiny hint of citrus with a soft musky base, I don't get any pepper at all from this one so don't let that scare you!
Luna by Penhaligons - this one is definitely not a dupe and the notes aren't even particularly similar (apart from a citrus/rose combo) I just think that maybe you'd like the vibe... It's very fresh and pretty, luminous and kinda dewy.

I have seductive red! I prefer guess Bella Vita! They both have cherry but Bella Vita is a darker cherry. Also fell in love with the original yes I am and Yes I am delicious this winter!

One of my favorite scent combos is cherry almond. As soon as you popped up the notes of the guess perfume, you had my attention. Once you sniffed it and confirmed it wasn't awful, I was immediately searching for it on the Canadian equivalents of Fragrance Net.
I found it!! I also picked up Indie to try and then repurchased Katy Perry's Mad Potion. I had tried that one after a previous video of yours, but ended up passing it along to my tween daughter who loves it. It's now her signature scent so I have to keep it stocked lol.
I'm so pleased to have a cherry forward perfume! I don't find the almond note that evident, but I can layer it with my Demeter Almond for that. I also find it layers well with Kayali's burning cherry if I want more depth.
I was also very curious to hear your thoughts when I saw you pull Purr out. I have that as well and love it as a bedtime scent. I find the initial scent awful, but it dries down to such a comforting slightly sweet scent.

I like Guess seductive red. It s smells sweet and mellow.😊 Sometimes shipping can make perfumes smell odd but it you let them settle for a month or so they smell as intended. I haven’t smelled blissful fantasy but something about it makes me think of the OG Sunflowers perfume.

I love the Dolce Garden. I didn’t think I would love it so much. I always get compliments on that one. I got it at TJ Maxx. They have lots of designer perfumes at amazing prices!!

I bought Guess Seductive Red a couple weeks ago. I love it but just wish it was an EDP instead of an EDT. But I can always layer it with another cherry perfume of mine for longevity.

Beach Walk, Utopia, Hibiscus Palm...in theory I should LOVE Dolce Garden but my oh my...I get over ripen, almost rotton fruit on me. OH OH- Have you tried the new Black Opium? I've smelled a few of the Fantasy perfumes (original, midnight, intimate, hidden) and I haven't liked any of them 🫤 the cupcake accord doesn't really translate to my nose. I've been eyeing Dolce Garden for a long time so I think I'll give it a try come summertime :)
A liquid lipstick in a bold color always makes me feel amazing!!
Try smelling Fantasy Intense. It still has the cupcake note but I don't really smell it that strongly.

The name Garden 🌿 🌷... in Dolce garden perfume is not misleading. It's inspired by the gardens of Sicily in bloom... Basically it's inspired by the Mediterranean gardens...

I was actually just shopping for a cheapie the other week and got Sofia by Sofia Vergara. It’s definitely one of the best cheapie celebrity fragrances I’ve tried!

I've lately been getting into fragrance, and I got the Kayali perfume sample set in the mail today- fully wasn't expecting to like the Musk scent or really the amber one, but I liked both of them so much!

I just did a FragranceNet haul a couple weeks ago. I grabbed some cheapies and celebrity fragrances.
I got Paris Hilton Ruby Rush (cherry scent and really good), Agent Provacateur Electric, Britney Spears Hidden Fantasy, Miami Glow by J-Lo, Carolina Herrera VIP 212, Selena Gomez and Katy Perry Mad Love (this one is probably my favorite.)
You should try Katy Perry Mad Love which is like strawberries and cream and then also Katy Perry Killer Queen which is like a mix of black opium and FlowerBomb.
Oooh I also just bought Al Rehab Choco Musk on Amazon for like $15 and it actually smells really good! Like a tootsie roll, smells like it was more than $15

Hi Lauren! One of my favourite cheapies is I Love Love by Moschino, in the blue and orange bottle! It's a nice fresh linear citrus but it has a nice juiciness to it. I'm also partial to Cacharel's Yes I Am Glorious (the nude lipstick), it's a nice sweet peach perfume.
I'm mostly commenting to tell you that you MUST smell Pastel Skies, one of the spring launches from Bath and Body Works. I'm wearing it right now and you would love it, it's unabashed vanilla buttercream without being screechy.
I love CH L'Eau 2017 Carolina Herrera so so much and I bought it as a blind buy just recently. The initial spray smells like citrus ( and can feel a little like housecleaner) but within seconds turns into this really warm, sweet fragrance that I love so much. Would highly recommend
Briteney midnight fantasy is one of my oldie but goodie faves, im dying to try the Pepe jeans in the light brown martini glass bottle both fragrance net. I’ve heard consistent divine reviews on the latter for gourmand/vanilla lovers.
I love the OG Nina and Katy Perry Killer Queen. I just picked up Zadig and Voltair Girls Can Say Anything and so far I like it a lot
I recently blind bought Girls Can Be Crazy and it definitely does have some baby wipes vibes, but I honestly love the scent! The tonka and cola are just yummy! It’s very comforting to me, but I’m a big almond and tonka fan.
I used to have Seductive Red because I’m a real cherry fiend, however it just doesn’t last on me. I get 30 mins max wear and it’s just a bad cherry version of Cloud to me.
I adore Dolce Garden, very rich/decadent tropical scent. Z&V This Is Her is a lifer for me and my best blind buy ever. My most adorable perfume that I live so much (and will also forever be in my collection) is Shea from the Body Shop. It has a clean, musky, mineral, nutty sort of thing going on 😌

I have Guess Seductive Noir which was, as Bob Ross would say, a happy little accident 😆 Fragrancenet sent it to me for free…? Maybe it was a mistake because I’m a nobody, but they told me to keep it. It’s a total dupe for Mon Guerlain. Sage note instead of lavender. Very worth $30 if you like that DNA.
I recently bought Zara’s Ebony Woods bc the tester in store smelled like cherry, but my bottle smells almost citrus and dries down to a powdery spicy vibe. It’s fine, but not what I was expecting. Too much of a hassle to go to a mall and return tho.
Pure XS I am undecided on. I’ve worn it around the house a bit, and I like it. I don’t love it. I guess I get the popcorn…not sure what I was expecting. It’s really peachy and sweet.

My fave celeb scent is JLo's Still. It's a really lovely soft tea scent. It's such an easy reach everyday fragrance. Love D&G Dolce Garden - similar to that is Kate Spade's Live Colorfully. The few Britney Spears perfumes I've tried have been too shampooey for me. I do really like JS Fancy. I love OG DKNY Be Delicious. The best apple fragrance I've found. Love by Sofia Vergara is a good one; I have Sofia also, but it can lean a little bit shaving cream on me.
I also blind bought the same Zadig & Voltaire perfume last week. I agree that it is powdery, but it settles down on me after a few minutes. The longevity was also good: after a 9hours working day my boyfriend complimented on it and stated that it is a good ‘going to work scent’. 😊
Ooooh I started thinking about nostalgic perfumes for me, and the only one that I can really think of is Vera Wang's Princess. I've still never smelled it, but I remember pining after it SO badly in middle school & being jealous that my friends' parents bought them perfume 😂 The first perfume that I can distinctly remember being given as a gift to me was Harajuku Lovers 'Music'... gawd I hated the way it smelled sadly 🥺 After that I was a Viva la Juicy girlie LOL 💕

Mad love by Katy Perry - I detest coconut in about 99% of things but this perfume has enough sweetness in it where I love it. If it wasn’t for that though I’d probably hate it. I can also pick this scent a mile off haha
Sofia by Sofia Vergara - great cheaper alternative to Chanel Coco Mademoiselle
Can Can Burlesque by Paris Hilton - I bought the original can can at the same time but I actually like this one better out of the two. This has a tart raspberry note in it.
Glitter Fantasy by Britney Spears - I think this is pretty similar to the rocker femme one from years ago just without the coconutty ness so of course I like this better lol

Katy Perry Killer Queen is all me! I used it for years and years and sometimes still do for the nostalgia ❤ Also My fave band ever is Queen so I have Killer Queen tattooed on me 😊 There's a new one called Dolce Blue Jasmine I wanna try, I'm not big on Jasmine but the other notes sound like I might like it 💙

I agree that a pear note easily takes over. I have to say, in general I don't love fruity notes. Bitter Peach is the exception, but I don't really enjoy smelling like fruit, even though the smell of fruit is mostly pleasant. Just not something I want to smell like.
My favorite Katy Perry fragrance is also Indi. Delicious musc and very soft and wearable.

Okay what are the odds that you got D&G garden! I’m laying in bed with Garden spritzed all over me. This is a wonderful beach scent imo. The floral grounds the coconut to me. It’s a really nice summer gourmand.

How’s the performance and longevity on seductive red? A lot of people say it’s weak and barely lasts an hour?
Seductive Red is very subtle, it kind of smells like a weaker version of cloud but with an added cherry note. It disappears on me in about half an hour 😭
@@nishithakaveramma6822 I pair it with a cherry-centric body lotion like B&BW Sugared Cherry Crisp. It’s not “beast mode” at all. It’s a close scent bubble that lasts 3 - 4 hours before becoming a “skin scent”. I refresh around lunchtime.
I have two little bottles of seductive red and a bigger one of the seductive noir (like mon guerlain). They are good to me but not mind blowing but still solid perfumes. I finished my travel size of Garden this past summer. It’s really nice. Most of my collection is made up of “cheapies”. Most were under $50 (many under $30)and basically all under $100.
Love Britney Spears ones and Jessica Simpson so fancy as well as Rihanna riri. My favorite blind by is escada flor del sol… cacti are on a yellow box

Oh my God I remember coveting that royal revolution perfume from Katy Perry! I think there was also a red bottled fragrance? Genderless is absolutely up my alley so who knows I might pick this up to live out my teenage fantasy of owning a Katy Perry scent because the kitschy cat bottles did not call to me

I bought a small 1 oz bottle of Guess Seductive Red, and I wasn't sure about it the first few times I wore it, but then I started to crave it. I went through that bottle (in about two months!) and bought a bigger bottle, and regularly have to stop myself from buying yet another backup. It is one of my absolute favorites right now, and only the fact that I am trying to use my others right now is keeping me from just using that one. Things I love about GSR: 1) it is not too strong, but still lasts and lasts on me. I often feel self conscious about whether or not I am choking other people out with my fragrance, and I never worry about that with this one. On the other hand, a lot of weaker perfumes only last a couple hours, but I still get whiffs of this one all day. 2) I love cherry as a note. However, it can skew overly sweet or tart or heavy at times, but this one has a fresher feeling due to the cherry blossom in it. I feel like this is gourmand enough to wear in cold weather, but fresh enough to wear in warmer weather. And 3) this goes super well with my skin. I have some fragrances I have had to get rid of because they changed a ton or went too strong on my skin, but this one smells even better on me, if that is possible. A word to the wise with this one, though. I have heard that, similarly to Cloud or BR 540, it is possible to go nose blind to this fragrance quickly. However, others can still smell it on you. So if it is important for you to smell your fragrance really strongly all day, this is not the one for you.
Hi! I love the note of popcorn. Have you tried What About Pop by the House of Oud? (I almost blind bought it but then got a decant, not blind buy safe in my opinion) But I ended up really liking it!
The best celeb frag in the day was With Love from Hillary Duff. God it was good.
I have recently got the new-ish (to Australia) Delta Goodrem - Power EDP. It is a celebrity scent, but I find it to be quite good. It has a toasted coconut note, and even though I DESPISE coconut I really like this perfume. The scent of it is quite musky, a little tiny bit sweet, much like a skin scent and it has that toasted quality that you are often talking about. I think if you can get your hands on it you might like to try it. Just a thought.
With the other notes in Girls Can be Crazy I would have expected a heavy syrupy cola instead of the nothing burger you described lmao

Chacharel LouLou is a BEAST! I love it. I just have to spray on my clothes 3 days before wearing them 😂. Rihanna‘s perfumes are good. Try any of the Arabic brands - Afnan’s Modest Deux broke me. Woah!!

I always wanted the Katy Perry cat perfumes too!! I almost blind bought them a few months ago because I still think they're so cute, but FragranceNet had a sample of Meow so I grabbed that first. SO glad I did, it smelled like bug spray to me 😥
I bought both the meow and purr blindly and they both smelled awful. Because I hated the smells the cats looked possessed and I gave away both bottles.

I owned Girls can be crazy at one point. Fell in love with it at first smell. Loved it until the bottle was about halfway through and then I fell out of love HARD! And all of a sudden I could not stand it anymore. So weird, I never experienced that before. Sure, the love dies down sometimes, but so hard, abrupt and fast...wow, that was strange.
Katy Perry Indi is so good. Meow is good too if you like a younger smelling super sweet perfume.

1. given the kind of pear note you describe liking, try looking out for ones paired with musk mallow (that's what god is a woman has too funnily enough!). at least on my skin musk mallow is STRONG (good thing i'm a fan of it lol) so it pulls even dominating notes like pear and jasmine riiiiiiiight down
2. if you wanna smell like pure popcorn - lush let the good times roll body spray is everything you need ;-)
You should check out Taylor Swift's perfumes! Those were my teenage years 💖 They are a bit hard to come by now though.
