I believe that you were welcomed by snow instead of rain, because your traditional place of birth loves snow and winter. This is a show of blessings by Nature. Your presence in Kaliningrad added a new star to the holiday atmosphere. Hope you do return. Thank you for your smiles, Elena. We love them.❤
Thank you for your kind message 🤗
This winter adventure is such a contrast to the deserts of Kazakhstan! ☃ Well done for taking that leap of faith to go somewhere that is not mentioned often 🌸🌸
Definitely, very different from Central Asia 😄
Looks like a great city to explore. The city has an old history that ties in with Russia going back centuries. Thank you for another fantastic video 👏👏👏
Glad you enjoyed it, Kevin! Yes, it's a really special city 🤗
@@elenastravels I thought that before 1945 this Kaliningrad used to be the German city of Konigsberg because this city was created by German Teutonic knights 900 years ago when the Baltic Germans converted the Lithuanians and Latvians and Estonians to Christianity in the Baltic Crusades? I always wondered why the Lithuanians and Latvians and Estonians do not go to the Orthodox church like people in Belarus do? Maybe Germany had something to do with the history of what type of Christian church the Lithuanians and Latvians and Estonians go to?
Hi Elena. Wonderful video! I don't tkink you could have picked a more beautiful time of year to visit this magical city. But you should probably go back in the spring just to be sure.)))
Hey Jim! I'd love to visit in spring, yes 🌻
Hello again, Snow Princess Lenochka! Was the mulled wine tasty? Kaliningrad is a beautiful city, and it looks like you really enjoyed the sights and sounds😊!
Hey ❄ It was really tasty, I have to admit 😅 I really enjoyed visiting this city, yes!
Thanks for sharing this beautiful city with us. The snow made the scenes and lights truly magical. The music in the old cathedral ... wonderful
You're welcome, Nathan! The snow made everything look beautiful, true. But on day 3 it was already hard to walk around the city 😅
Elena, you intricately wove the images with the tranquil ambience of this place for us to experience with you. A truly beautiful and comforting way to end the year!
Chris, glad you liked the experience 🤗
My mother was born in Königsberg. Wonderful video, thank you! ❄️🩵
Wow, that's really interesting 🙏
She was only 3 years old when her family was forced to leave in 1945, she never visited this beautiful city again.
Music being masterfully executed on the reknown and magnificent pipe organ within the cathedral must be an elevating experience. You called it magical, but it may trascend that to a higher realm. I´m truly glad you experienced this at a young age. Transforming!
So true 🙏
Dear Elena, thank you very much for this beautiful video! ❤ My great grandparents are from Kaliningrad/Königsberg and I hope to visit this beautiful city one day. By the way, East Prussia was a melting pot of Baltic People, Germans, Jews, Russians and Protestant refugees from France, Scottland, the Netherlands and Austria. This region has a very interesting history.
I am glad you liked the video! Hope you'll get to visit one day 🤗✨
I'm going to Kaliningrad soon, I really enjoyed watching this. Thank you for releasing this.
Thanks for sharing this, a fascinating place! Its strange to think that not long ago the world cup was partly hosted here.
Glad you enjoyed it! Agree, strange to think that so much has changed in the world in just a few years.
Privet Lenochka - Amelienau streets and houses looks same as in Czech Republic ....Seems like they saved as much history last twenty years as possible ,which is great .I heard about German government putting down money for final reconstruction of Konigsberg protestant cathedral .
Hey, Jerry! Interesting. Yes, I am glad they are trying to preserve the history.
@@elenastravels Hey Elena ,,! its essential to do it .I love when they named university in Kaliningrad -Immanual Kant university ....Russia is maturing ,even under totalitarian Putins regine ,which is wonderfull !!🙂
Hello 👋👋👱 thank you!! Just beautiful place😲😍👍👏
Greetings!!😊😁
Hey, Adam! Glad you liked the video 😊
Wow, what a beautiful city with this architecture and different styles. The snow make the city more magic.
It really is!

Great video! It is sad to see that your channel is not so widespread! Hopefully it will grow soon :)
Kaliningrad looks so cosy in snowy day, and your smile is so lovely, Lenočka. I will also look forward to the summer episode from the same location 😊
Dear Elena, many thanks from your video from Königsberg❤️
My Mother was born their. I stay in East Prussia 1993 with my parents. Nie wieder Krieg❣️
I hope to come again….

Lovely. Thank you
🤗
Já privikla Evropě,..naším susedom...oni byli blízko i sejchas ocen daleko ....it's sad . -(
Pretty slick, professional camera work & editing, it seems like it’s not the work of some nice lady with good English and tons of money, but actually the Russian media giant RT. Am I wrong?
I'm sorry that Koenigsburg became a Soviet exclave after WW II, but that's the 'spoils of war'. I always enjoy your videos, which have a pristine essence about them, and even more so with your Lovely countenance within.
Thank you, I'm really glad you like my videos 🙂
Hi Elena nice place,take care
Very beautiful city!
There may be quite a few German speakers in Kaliningrad due to the fact that before World War Two, the area was called East Prussia and was part of Germany.
Yes, of course
Please tell me any war situation happens in kaliningard upcoming days
Is Kaliningrad safest place?
Калининград... Много форты там
I want visit Kaliningrad, but I don't know how to go from France :/
I saw a guy in a supermarket in st. Petersburg and they had all kinds of European products. What are you talking about.
...cat.....tortie ?
....and you are ebullient in/about snow and Winter weather.....good for the soul.....
Most with a HS education or higher would dispute Kaliningrad is truly part of Russia. Russia has no legal claim to it. It used to be a part of Germany, but at the end of WW2 the Allied Powers agreed it would become part of Belarus. Belarus abandoned it and Stalin and his USSR forcefully occupied it on his own. After the end of the USSR, Russia decided since no one was forcing them out yet, it was a part of Russia. In reality however most of the residents born there would prefer it be an independent state or become a part of Poland. We can['t even call it a break away republic if and when either happens, because legally it was never an actual part of Russia. Here Russia is just a burglar sitting in someone else's house and pretending it is theirs. BTW, Kaliningrad is not it's historical name.
And poles are some burglars of All ex Prussian territories of Germans , so if you leave Gdansk, Danzig / Silesia and move it to Germans , the same thing with Kaliningrad will be accurate for Russians .
