That is poorly explained, it's the same thing, that would still work connected by cable or wifi and receiving DHCP, or just activate the enable DHCP button in the sadp tool window. All you have to do is disable the antivirus on your computer and that's it.

Does not work. No matter what subnet you use. It only depend wither you are connected directly or over network infrastructure. SADP just refuses to function if there is any managed switched between you and the camera.
