This run uses the new tricks found back in May and June.
I'm also pretty sure that I've beaten Pendrokar's old segmented speedrun now. And 1.4 was supposed to be the slowest version!

The early 3D era... The time of exploration and genre mixing even in the AAA games. This, Sacrifice, Battlezone... Truly wonderful years.

Sacrifice had a bug and was unplayable with my copy.
A game of my childhood. Easily in top5 ever. Too bad I was never able to play it in Multiplayer mode. When I finally had internet at my home the game was already forgotten. :(

This really highlights how lackluster the reaperski part is. I forgot it even existed, I think I used to skip it with cheats.

If you are trying to improve on this, here is a tip. At kabuto levels you don't need the magnifying glass. Just get on top of the gate, make a power attack to get inside and then do it again. Usually need to do it twice, sometimes goes with one. I think you can save up to one and half minutes by this trick.
Whoa, dude! This is a great one! I did some more research and found that it even works without clipping inside the gate. Simply using the yellow adrenaline attack with right mouse button does the trick when positioning is right, for me it worked to be right at the gate, stand a bit to the left from its centre and aim at the centre. Used version 1.4 by the way.
I'm not really active anymore but I remember the climbing-swimming part at K4-1 was always a pain to optimize, I tried to jump there directly with a red attack on either the crystal or an enemy but it took just as long. Nice to see it gone from future runs!

What was that weird thing you did with Delphi where her spells disappeared as you were putting in Souls and Smarties started popping up for you?
I was catching smarties from my own base with the bubble spell, it's faster than them walking back and their energy is also restored this way.

This was really cool to see. I can only ever make it up to the base building part and I fail hard. The beginning is fun just shooting but eventually it turns into a game that is just not my style. I've always wondered what the rest of the game looked like. Fucking weird shit.

I don't like MDK2, I doubt I'm ever gonna pick it up for running.

also i found out you dont need to kill the rippers in the first mission, i was able to walk up to timmy and complete it
I jsut found out in this game if you jump as delphi and throw a mine (in midair), you can send them FAR. Wanna interesting playthrough? Always have 1 mine so they will refill in the shops. You can literally launch them across the map it hysterical.

It's a really great game. And a PERFECT speed game (for me). I'm just wondering, have you ever written a route? Like a paragraph about every mission? Or if you have not, would you consider doing commentary over a run?
I've only ever wrote notes about certain tricks and glitches and technical stuff, no step-by-step guide for every mission exists so far. Base building missions' routes change all the time and have to be tweaked mid-run ;) I could consider making such commentary but that's gonna take some time, I have other stuff to do now (I'd also prefer to make slower but more detailed explanatory, more newbie-friendly). For now just keep practicing, the basics are enough to get your time under 2 hours :)
sounds amazing! I'd love to get into this game but the route seems a bit overwhelming for me rigth now. I have some early missions down, but the base building ones i find really difficult.

Aaand again. Someone of developers really have a problem
Only fixed by folks who ported the game to PS2, not that I'm complaining. And Kabuto can be beaten in one cycle, in about 10 seconds, it's just hard due to wonky hitboxes.
