In this video I will explain how adaptive optics are use to counter our atmosphere.
Can you please elaborate on the calculations involved to sharpen images using multiple telescopes and sensors from different physical locations? I would like to take data I have obtained from simultaneous imaging of the same target point in space and apply these calculations and obtain a sharper image
The technique used there is performing an averaging of the input of a particular pixel with the pixel information of the pixels around it, with diminishing input from pixels farther away. This technique is done on each pixel which ends up sharpening the image.
It it primary or secondary reflector which is doing that fluctuations to counteract twinkling ?
Only image processing can reduce the effects of twinkling and blurring.

Adjustable mirrors are used to compensate for temperature changes in order to keep the compound mirrors in a perfect parabolic shape.
