Jimmy Nicholl takes a trip down memory lane with Si Ferry, reflecting on a long career which has seen him play at the top level for the likes of Man Utd, Rangers and at two World Cups with Northern Ireland.
We also discuss his time as a coach including his famous trophy winning achievements with Raith Rovers, helping out with the national team and of course his recent tenure with Rangers.
Jimmy isn’t short of an hilarious story or two as he tells us some brilliant tales about the characters he’s shared a dressing room with over the years including George Best, Ally McCoist, Graeme Souness and Jock Wallace. - Sport
A genuine guy who should also be remembered for the remarkable job he did at Raith Rovers.
I could listen to the old players football stories all day.
He is one of the few really genuine and likeable gents in the Scottish game. Gem of a lad.
One of Ulster's finest. Some cracking stories!
Celtic man myself but this was great.
I say it again, these long form informal interviews with players from the time I was growing up are a great glimpse in. They relax, banter and tell anecdotes they wouldn’t in any traditional interview.
They’re really fantastic guys, cheers.
