In today's video we get the Honda s2000 ready to hit the track for race day. We started out by doing the brand new Spoon Radiator & hoses. Then we removed AC from the car since I never use it! Finally, we cut the stock catalytic converter out of the car and made a DIY exhaust!

Start running Distilled water with some water wetter instead of coolant. Very important for track cars. Not only will it have a higher boiling point BUT its a lot safer, if you ever spring a leak that coolant will be like ice out the track and potentially cause a wreck.

*_Just found out my radiator is going out as well. After doing research I found out that Spoon is probably the best for an EK if the person is able to afford it 🥹 Probably going to purchase it for mine. My uncle bought me a cheap aluminum radiator but just found out it's leaking from tbe top… rip_*
You don't need the second fan on the rad if you removed the AC so you can remove that too.
Have you removed the air pump as well yet? Can get the delete kit from izze and it saves some more weight/cleans up the bay and makes some extra working room
Edit* can still see the air pump hoses connected to.the intake so yeah remove that
You should get a NRG or a Works Bell flip up/pop up steering wheel so it'll be easier to get in and out of your S2000.

Hey Dustin! Any future plans in terms of performance parts? I know the s2k doesn't really respond too much to bolt ons in terms of a hp increase but at the very least an actual dyno tune may help? Let you fine tune some things and pick up a little torque down low..play with cam positioning and vtec engangement helped my car lively up quite a bit!

Check out the Fumoto oil drain valves for the S2000. Ive got it on my S2000 and it’ll help out with the oil changes. Super easy

Velocity stack through the headlight for the intake. Low profile electric fans for the radiator. Hondata KPro for tuning.

Question: if the s2k is a track car, wouldn't it be easier to run water and water wetter instead of coolant? That way if it dumps out, it's just water. In Socal there are no freezing conditions

You can remove the 'strut bar'. it does nothing on the S2000 as it doesn't have strut towers as it's double wishbone suspension. There's also the chassis brace down under the intake that ties the two sides together. All it's good for is a hand rest when working on the engine haha

you just need the right tool for that clamp under the intake, have done that upper hose before in less than 2 min
Yeah now that I have done it once it won’t be bad. The person who had the car before had the clamps on it before motor was put in. So the clamp was in an impossible place lol

Just an fyi strut tower braces add very little to an s2000 cause it already has braces welded in the bay
