Save systems really let you do so messed up stuff. I had a Elder Scrolls Oblivion playthrough where after saving I would slaughter everyone in a town, load back, then do it again to see if I could get a personal record. After having had enough fun, I carried on with my righteous warrior playthrough. If someone had the power to save and load in real life, then they could do some really messed up stuff and no one would be any wiser.

Being a hero comes at the cost of yourself. As soon as anyone realizes this, they start to change out of fear. And then they become the villain, which costs others. They became the very thing they swore to protect others from out of fear.

I'm always fascinated by the fact of nothingness, moments when it's gray, moments when nothing feels, when right & wrong are two sides of the same coin.
This perception about darkness is yet quite soothing & compelling. As it doesn't matter, whether it's for the best or worse. As darkness would always be there why not to embrace it, to befriend it.

The point about "light" and "darkness" is actually they are not what we think. We think light is good because it allows us to sense the world around us by using our eyes, but in reality it is just bouncing photons.
Darkness on the other hand, is what remains when there is no light. It is everywhere, but light's presence makes it disappear. Poor thing "hides" behind us when light is present.
Then there is us. Living beings. Not light, not dark. We are a mix of both, good and bad. Both reside within us. When light on us, dark appears in the opposite direction, as to keep us inbetween.
Fascinating, right? But it got long and excessive 😅

No need to try and give others false hope, it will only make it worse. For when that fragile hope shatters for the last time, they will fall much further than they did before. It's best to be honest and truthful with them, and they'll be able to assist in guiding the next generation through this illness.
