Rhas las pond and the village of Fochriw

- Rhas Las pond situated at the top of the Merthyr and Gelligaer common in the Darran Valley is a 200 year old Reservoir that used to be part of the Dowlais free drainage system. The south dam of the pond is listed as a scheduled ancient monument.
To the south of the pond lies the village of Fochriw. population of approx 1500.

Is the bent iron bridge by here?
The bent iron monument is a few hundred metres to the east of Rhas Las pond. On the edge of the ridge looking over Rhymmey.
It's on my list of targets to film at some point
