      It's great tbh. I wish more boarders were faster, but the bikes, scooters, and EUC's are fun to ride with too. Thanks for watching

    That was a chill ride by your usual standards. Nice

      Yeah, I was leading/setting the pace and I was a little confused about his skill level since he had just posted he wanted to do a "quick" ride, which I take as 25-35 mph on an esk8. I just kept going faster and faster (the ranger tops out at 55-60 mph) and he just kept being right there on my rear wheel. I'm not used to esk8's blasting corners at 45 mph. I'm more used to people riding over their skill level, and, their skill level being pretty low to begin with. But Heath could probably beat me on the street given the same top speed... and the ranger is quite capable on the road in its current setup. I think I could take him off road though ;) since the ranger kind of has a ridiculous advantage with 10" of suspension travel . He's crazy fast on that esk8 though.

      Yeah, it was, but idk how much faster I would have wanted to go on those Dallas streets lol. I hope to get back down there sometime and get another ride in with some more riders and better weather (overcast sky isn't optimal.) Thanks for watching

    Hey heath, I've got a question - I'm considering getting a lacroix and am deciding between a regular nazare, and a nazare Supersport - I can get a used Nazare in good condition for about $2900, whereas a Supersport would cost me over $3800. Would the Supersport be worth the extra $1000 in your opinion or?
    Incase it helps, I'd be gearing both boards to top out at between 40-45mph, targeting acceleration rather than pure top end.

    • @V1NC3J
      @V1NC3J Před 2 lety

      Depends if the torque is worth it the extra $$$
      18s vs 12s. The Nazare will get you there just slightly slower, also the range but not by much.

    • @wiggpickle
      @wiggpickle  Před 2 lety +1

      I got my 12s Naz for $2500 with about 5 miles of use on it. That kind of deal is really hard to beat. It all depend on your experience, but unless you need the extra torque of the 18s, I'd buy the 12s. You can always upgrade down the road. Also, a properly tuned 12s board performs equal to, if not better, than a stock 18s.. lmk what you end up with

    • @tommynguyen8620
      @tommynguyen8620 Před 2 lety +1

      @@wiggpickle man, I'd kill for a 12S Naz at 2500 haha. When you say properly tuned, what do you mean? Adjusting VESC settings? Intending on doing that with whatever board I get, so they'd both be tuned in that case lol.

    • @wiggpickle
      @wiggpickle  Před 2 lety +1

      @@tommynguyen8620 Exactly. Crank the motor and battery amp setting up and you have a monster. cranked up 18s boards on stock gearing options are too much to handle and it will shred belts lol. It can easily throw you off the back. You also have to take wheel spin into consideration with that much power. Under full acceleration you'll be leaning very far forward. If you have a tire slip (dirt, water, etc.) you be sliding down the road. I fractured my wrist this way. Be careful, though. The more power you pull from the electronics, the more likely you are to damage electrical components, degrade the battery, etc. Keep an eye out. I saw a well used naz recently for 2k!

    • @wiggpickle
      @wiggpickle  Před 2 lety

      I wish! That would make this whole thing much easier tbh. Max battery size allowed on a place is 100wh. This board is 1073wh.. Options to travel with the board are limited to driving with it or shipping the board to your destination (risky).
