    Great Video Gary, one thing I always do when setting the exposure is run through the sweep with the histogram to make sure nothing clips at any point through the sweep.

      @@MikePageKaltenberg that's what I do too. with the DR on most cameras now, you can pull up shadow/underexposed enough for the variation from one side to the other to not be shocking...

    Gary, great and simple instruction on shooting pano's wouldn't expect anything less. This has to be the best and most straightforward explanation on how to get a good pano shot that I have seen .. Nice photo's one of the boat house makes the shot I took 2 years ago look rubbish

    Nodal slider & base levelling heads seem to be helpful too Gary.
    When editing, as you shown..i also use 'guides' to place onto horizon fir final levelling on-screen.

    Love this. Thank you for posting. At some stage, 'Part B' being the process flow from the end of this video through to the end of a final print would be great - far too few photographers have their work printed anymore in my opinion

    Great job Gary. Another reason to shoot in portrait is to maximize your pixels. If your image size is 4000 x 6000 in landscape why not go "vertical" and get as many pixels as possible.
