- Lady Deathstrike is one of the least played cards in all of Marvel Snap, so I decided to try her out in a Mister Negative deck with Shuri and Arnim Zola, to see if she could do some crazy stuff.

Power Estimate: This deck went 9-7 for me, which is a respectable 56% win rate, but it's by no means an amazing one. I did appreciate that this deck had a handful of different winning lines, but I'm not sure Lady Deathstrike is a meaningfully better alternative than a traditional Mister Negative deck might offer.

I feel like lady deathstrike should either get a cost reduction, or a power buff. Her power is almost never enough to destroy anything turn 5 unless your playing a deck like this😂
4/4 makes more sense to me. 5/5 doesn't really move the scale and 5/6 is way too strong. Gives synergy with Zabu then, which is fun.
She is really fun in C4. You just have to be careful and not play her in your Cerebro/Mystique lane.

I've also found some fun with her in a Cerebro-4 deck, since it reads her power after the Cerebro +2.

Negative Deathstrike is fun when you pull off the combo, I use Mystique in mine to copy the Knull or Ironman depending on the situation.

I made almost this exact deck yesterday from a draft-format.
I think I have more fun watching you than playing. I know there's a lot of games that arent seen here, but it's good stuff with the random jank that makes it on the video.
I play LDS in my destroy deck when Iron Man is big in the meta. But the problem is you often need to wait until turn 6 and that’s when you need to play Knull!

When I play card generating cards, I always get her 😂. I think there is where the 0.6% appears 😂
This deck got me to infinity one season - a version of it at least.
I didn't have wong/Zabu/Panther, Instead I had White Tiger, Mestique, and Ironheart.
The Knull+mestique sometimes is enough power to win, and iron man+mestique is always baller. And White Tiger+Zola is a lot of power on turns 4,5 if you have Ravonna down.
Been playing this but stopped since Mobius and Caeria is getting popular due to Mockingbird Thanos decks. Im half way in full inking them as well.

I think Deathstrike should just be a reverse Shang chi at 4/3. Or maybe make her on reveal destroy any card with a base power lower than her own. Although i think that might be a bit too busted, lol. I think DS definitely needs a buff but i can also understand why she might not get it. Awesome video, as always Regis

@@mouthymouthyou could ellaborate your argument better by saying that people sometimes insta retreat when you snap and you wanna see the end of the game, regis says that all the time, he wants his matches to be complete for the videos
I went top 1500 with lady deathstike destroy deck like 2 seasons back. Fun to destroy Cerobos,wangs,Ironman, while destroying your own x-23 or winter soldier. I’ve moved away from destroy decks after getting my full deck Kirby and gold/balckandwhite

I was hoping you would play that Black Panther right first on top of the Lady Deathstrike and then play the Zola mid on Bar Sinister to spread them both around.
(I'm not even sure if that would have worked I just always pray for chaos. The result you got was pretty amazing, though!)
This was my go to when she was 3 power but the devs had to "buff" her for the dumb and unimaginative. Being a 3 cost offers so much flexibility. At least it didn't make her useless like Galactus. I loved soning people on turn 5. They never saw it coming.

Hey Regis, loved Ur content since pure paladin era in hearthstone. This was my main deck before Loki season but it got significantly worse right from Loki season. I want to point out that it's not actually a very good deck right now and I hope people don't get baited and waste resources into it.

This can be fun. Lady D needs a buff though. Way underplayed card. They need to either drop her cost and/or bump her power. They gave Gladiator a buff not long after he came out!

I was really confused when Regis had said Magic was turning off the Bar Sinister (at 5:07) and yet, after the turn rush, both Bar Sinister and White Palace were still there despite Magics being spawned there. Then I remembered her card text... (I think...)
On Reveal: Turn this location into Limbo. This does not work on Turn 6.
Meaning none of the Magics from Arnim Zola would trigger thus Bar Sinister was still in play.
First game you were saying was wacky and played death strike but you had Wong black panther zola? That’s all you needed. Wong into bp into zola game over ? You made it so much harder lol

The main issue for Mr.Negative now is MMM, which is everywhere now.....
Negative decks feels impossible to win in this game currently. It's my favorite archetype, but the game will ALWAYS draw the at least halft of the 0-power cards before MR Negative.
8/8 of the games I played with this decklist on ladder I was put against move decks plus Negative came in hand only once and I had Knull and Zola in hand. In 5 of the 8 games I got a Monster in location so Cannonball (present in the 8 enemy decks) could disrupt everything.
It's for stuff like this that I don't like that they capped her destroying level with her new update
She needs to be buffed to 4/4 imo
5 cards that should be 4 end up being wonky because of Zabu

And I faced 4 other Deathstrike opponents in the first 6 games.
Second dinner desperately needs to rework the fast forward; it just takes all the fun out of any cool combo. If they're worried about turn time just make it play double speed or add a skip button.
Also the fact that we still don't have a turn history in the game is insane to me. It took like a year for them to even add the ability to see discarded/destroyed cards. It can't possibly be this difficult to make changes that actually improve the game instead of just adding a million ways to gate players out of acquiring new cards.
They only care about our money.

the meta is sad rn, just run zabu/ravonna and play a combination of 5 and 6 costs for turns 4/5/6

I just played a match with someone that tried to do this to me, used rogue, stole their Wong and just stole 8 from em because they snapped early 😝
Have fun with this deck. From my experience with these decks you'll likely rarely draw Negative and instead your hands will start with Iron Man, Zola and Knull. Forget drawing your early cards.
It sucks unless you hit infinite early you cant play any fun decks
