So glad you're covering the FD series. Yes, part 2 had the very CGI hospital scene but there are plenty of cool practical effects combined with finishing CGI in the special features on the DVD. I have to standalone DVD so I don't know if the 5 movie set omitted all the extras. The DVD has creative menus (the kitchen sparking ready to explode) and the best special feature ever: Choose Your Own Fate mode. Actual filmed scenes for the special feature that lets you alternate major paths in the movie. It's definitely worth seeking out but a warning: it's listed on the standalone blu-ray but it's not on the disc like the DVD includes. At least my Blu-ray, I can't find it in the menus at all for the Choose your own fate mode.
I thought that Choose Your Own Fate thing was only on 3, not any others? If it was, that’s a little strange. Could’ve sworn 3 was the only one to have that featurette. Only tried it once for that movie, and it was kind of cool lol.

Part 2 had some of the best setups with the whole beginning traffic scene, the gas line under the woman's car she was pinned in and smartly smoking right at the right time. Thank you jaws of life haha I loved that whole chain reaction ending with the flying barbed wire fence.
Hey, man! Awesome review! So great you’re reviewing those movies! I enjoyed Final Destination 2 but didn’t love it that much though many people consider it to be their fave. I was just thinking about giving those movies a rewatch this summer, God willing. The pileup scene at the beginning was freaking amazing! Keep up the great work! 👍

Dude this film was an interesting one lol. Apparently Devon Zawa was supposed to come back as well but due to scheduling conflicts he couldn’t so they just wrote in Alex’s death in between movies 🫤. It’s one of my top three favorites. The highway pile up definitely terrified me and it still kinda gives me jitters when I’m driving out on the highway and I see a log truck Lol. I hate how they didn’t connect this film with the third one though, but I will tell you this, Final Destination 5 is one of the best ones if not the best lol.
