Wawrinka crushed Feddy in RG 2015 and sonned Novak in the final. We all know that deep inside Feddy and all his fanboys would trade all his Roddick, Baghdatis, and weak era mug trophies for that sweet taste of GS final victory over peak Novak.
@@aizensousuke7107 no we will not.in contrast, djokofanboys would trade any ot their grandslam to a grandslam final win against prime federer
@@ousayedalhilal Djokovic fanboys are just as terrible indeed. Doesnât change what I said
"He can kill you ever so softly" ...what a great way to describe Federer 's game.
Federer's defense is so underrated
Just because it lives in the shadow of Federer's ridiculous offence.
Even though everyone always talks about how good it is?
@@dannytoots6635 it still underrated in my opinion
@@mohamedmouri5053 but that means only you donât rate it highly enough? If you acknowledge that you havenât rated it highly enough you shouldnât consider it underrated anymore right?
@@dannytoots6635 I rate his defense highly enough lol, but I still think It is underrated because of how people see and rate it , most of tennis fans don't even talk about it that's why I say It is underrated
For Wawrinka its much harder to play against Federer than Djokovic.
It's so satisfying to see Federer move and hit the ball like this with such high quality video
Roger played so well in this tournament!
Defeated Peak Djokovic
@@Aksriv100 * peak
@@masters.1000 Edited thanks
I need a time machine to go back to 2005... I miss tennis.
Working on it.
This is from 2011. Federer is supposedly about 3 yrs past his prime and people were talking about him retiring. Even Borg said he thought RF would retire in 2012. This guy has been so good for ao long. Itâs insane! In the semis RF would play one of his best clay court matches ever and beat Djokovic.
@@MrPernell27He is not past his prime at 27 years of age
Roger draws so much attention and focus from the crowd. You can feel they are in it from the get go because at every second you might be able to see a shot you havent seen before. Its really watching an artist at work
It was one of those slams where Roger was in the zone, was playing perfectly, but still didn't win. Clearly one of the best not won slams by Roger along with Wimbledon-2008 and 2019 and probably Aussie Open-2009, also US Open-2009 comes to mind
US Open 2015
@@tiberiu_toca exactly
Yeah exactly, Roger could have had 24-25 slams atleast..
Yup, and seemingly Wimbledon 2015 as well.
@@jjfutbol11 yeah, that's 8 slams right here, even if he had won 4 out these 8, he would have had 24 slams right now...and nobody could have even questioned his GOAT status than...
The point at from 1:50 to 2:01 just super amazing.. only federer can do that
Roger was in terrific form throughout that 2011 tournament, up until he hit that drop shot at 5-2 against Rafa. The wheels then came off âŠ
Brain cramps as usual :(
Rafaâs game on clay is so disruptive to Rogerâs rhythm. Roger tried many times, losing in 2005, 06, 07, 08, 11, and 19.
@@hobary1 in 11 and 19 Roger had the game to beat him but 11 his head went after the 5-2 and in 19 it was just unfortunate that some points went Rafas way
Not to mention that Rafa is the clay GOAT - only Novak can beat him in a best of five on clay ⊠three incredible champs ⊠the golden era and I have seen them all since Connors, Borg, McEnroe, Lendl, Wilander, Becker, Edberg, Agassi, Sampras âŠ
@@hobary1 What disrupted him was that toilet break he took at 2-5, which stopped the rhythm of the match.
Federer in his prime. This third set was an amazing high level of both players!
Thank you for posting this!
Wawrinka really couldnât decide if he wanted to wear his cap! đ
Maybe the sun was an issue.
Federer and Wawrinka met 4 times at Roland Garros, in 2010, 2011 and 2019 Federer won, but in 2015 it was Wawrinka.
I still can't believe that Roger didn't won Rolland garros 2011...âč
He played amazing whole tournament..
Watch in 50fps for best viewer experience!
Just finished watching badminton, now this
There is a simple reason why Federer does not struggle against Wawrinka. It's because Federer attacks the ball a lot and doesn't give Wawrinka time to attack back. Djokovic on the other hand cannot attack as well, which makes him vulnerable to Wawrinka's attacks.
I mean I like fed as much as anyone but seems like you didnât watch 2015. 3 set victory - beat pretty handily
@@yangyu7309 That was unstoppable Wawrinka
It's all about matchups against one another in tennis...and everything about federer jus doesn't suit Wawrinka...horrible matchup for stan...
By the way, in 2015, stan was absolute beast..he could have beaten rafa as well...
Federer also has a bit more variation than Djokovic. He delays the rallies more with his slice. Djokovic gives Wawrinka more room to get into a certain rhythm.
@@hirenpatel3699 yep
Rafan here, but I gotta admit this is the best version ever of Roger Federer on clay. I never forget his semifinal match against Novak. Just pure beauty of aggressive game. And he even went on toe-to-toe with Rafa in the final, it's just Rafa's speed and topspin were still in form.
This 2011 version of Federer can beat post 2015 version of Rafa on clay though.
@@sakshamsanwaria7486 I would definitely like to watch that match-up xD
This was my favorite tournament that Roger did not end up winning. Man I don't think he has ever played clay court tennis at this level. If only he would've capitalized on those chances in the first 2 sets in the finals, uh..
I think it's sort of similar to this year's USO final. Whenever Djokovic broke his opponent, he would use that momentum to beat his opponent. Djokovic had three break points in the second game of the second set. If he had pushed that ball down the line, he would've broken Daniil and maybe that momentum would've allowed him to win, but we'll never know.
@@hello-mv6yg yeah it is a very momentum driven game
@@sakshamsanwaria7486 Well sort of. This momentum thing doesn't apply to all players, like FAA or Shapovalov, who are both major chokers.
@@hello-mv6yg true for themđ€Ł. Fed is a bit of a choker in crucial moments if momdntum shifts a bit away from him and the opponent is named Novak or Rafa
@@sakshamsanwaria7486 Yep
You have a nice introđ
Stan best one handed backhand in history
Federer has a wicked slice too. Wawrinka really feels that slice when it comes to his side. Also Wawrinka is not natural with his own slice
Many countries would be proud if they'd have a player like Stan The Man. He he has fought countless of epic matches and he has the most beautiful and effective backhand in the history of tennis.
Swiss should be more proud of him too, although there is the other famous Swiss Tennis player... ;)
I'll never forget those 2 playing together and winning gold at the Olympics Bejing 2008.
Proud to be Swiss.
Feel more proud for Wawrinka than Federer? Seriously, man. Roger is one of the GOAT. Most celebrated player of his generation and the Swiss should feel more proud for Stan. You can say feel prouder for both but still tge precedence is in a wrong order man
â@@sakshamsanwaria7486 Sorry, You get me wrong... Of course not more than Roger, (he's the greatest ever) but Stan definitely deserves more respect than he actually becomes. Every country (okay, probably not Spain or Serbia) would be very proud for a sportsman who achieves what he has achieved, but the shadow beside Roger is very dark...
@@SH1974 sorry for that. My bad. Agreed with you.

How often do you see a backhand slice winner? Wow
It is really sad the way RF lost F O 06 and F O 11 final. He wasted too many easy opportunities if you look the highlight.
big fed and stan fan i have been watching alot of fed matches because fed may be gone for good which is ok because he leaves behind a very unique and inspiring career tennis will be different for sure i hope stan does well in the future

Federer should've won this tournament. He played his best tennis.
If only he could close it out against Nadal when he led 5-2 in the first set...
Treat of eyes
To be fair, I think they switched to faster balls that year which helped Federer a little bit with his serve. But he was in a great shape nonetheless.
Shouldâve beaten Dull in the final, the first 2 sets were there to take and he won the third.
Can you please post the highlights of Federer's Wimbledon 2021 matches (except the QF) without getting copyright strikes? Is it possible to do so?đ
Sorry, very dangerous :(
@@RazOls đ sad to know that.
What year was this ? His whole game was on fire here! No weaknesses anywhere
2011
I wish my education was as good as this
Raz firing right now.
Roger really should have won it that year. Beat peak Djoker in the semi with a masterful display. Was 5-2 up on Rafa in first set of the final with a set point, but then the old demons took over - lost the set 7-5, and the next...he rallied to win the 4th but Rafa closed it out in 4 sets.
FedEx and Wawrinka should make a deal with each other.
FedEx should let Wawrinka defeat him and in return, Wawrinka will tell FedEx on how to play Djokovic đ
Wawrinka got his revenge in 2015
Yes and Fed in 2019 đ
Wawrinka didnât just beat Federer, he MOPPED THE FLOOR with Djokovic in the final.
Man, did he had to wait 10 years for his revenge? How do you call that revenge when it's that long? It's like trying to get back at your old girlfriend after she cheated on you after ten years? Both of you had many different partners by then and no one remembers that unless you are psycho.
@@twinwankel Yes 4 = 10 đ€Š.
IÂŽm glad he did, prevented Djokovic from winning the GS.
Make a FEDERER video on HEAT WAVES music!! Please đđŒđđŒ
Can you hear the whip? 0:46
Wawrinka wasn't in his prime back then, obviously he'd lose against top form Federer.

WOW
Fed was on it that day. In fact he was on it that tournament.. until he met his nemesis, the Lefty one.
What match was this please?

@@RazOls ahh haha shouldâve noticed đ đ
And Nadal always gives this lesson to fedđ€Łđ€Ł

Shouldâve beaten Nadal in that final. Never will have had a better chance and blew leads in 1st and 2nd sets

One of those slams Fed should've won, but didn't. Along with 2019 Wimbledon, 2009 USO, 2009 AO, 2015 USO, and just maybe 2015 W (in that order)
Anyone see Roland Garros QF 2015?
Look man I'm not the biggest Federer fan but since I'm in to tennis your Fedfan boy videos always end up in my feed. I'd appreciate some videos not so one sided
Take a look at my upload from yesterday
Roger could of had more than 20 slams especially more here but he ran into a more vicious Rafa each and every year and in 2011 he should of won that match but choked away that first set
This Roger would've beat 05, 06 and maybe 07 Nadal at the FO
B Backhands
wawrinka with a hat on???
Federer's best tournament at the French?
In terms of level of his tennis - yes
Absolutely his best tournament from 2011 onwards till now
Yes, but he choked in the final. Even though I'm a Djokovic fan, Federer should've been the first guy to get a double career slam.
@TH4U should have won the 06 final and the calendar slam that year same with 2009
He shouldÂŽve solved his problems against Nadal way earlier than he did.
Silly title, to get more views haha
Stan is djokovics weak point. And Thats all.
