- On today's video, I show you how I made a simple small game carrier rig to hold your harvest while keeping your hands free to keep yourself safely on the weapon. Materials used were just one carabiner and 550 cord. Feel free to use whatever you want, the idea of this video is to just give yall inspiration to make your own.

Happy Birthday MARINE , God bless !
@@MichaelR58 thank you!
Excellent idea! So much more practical than using pvc pipe. 😁👍👍🇺🇸
Fantastic idea Anthony 👍
Extremely effective way of keeping track of your limit and also inexpensive 👍
My condolences go out to you for your loss of your best friend 🙏
Thank you so much. I live for simplicity and frugality
Happy Marine Birthday Day...Ya know, if you miss those squirrels, those cords will also hold beer bottles for some target practice...😃 necessity is the mother of all inventions. RIP Abigail.. Anthony,Sorry for your loss.
Thank you! Them squirrels can get sneaky sometimes. Calls never seem to work for them, you gotta bang on the trees to get them to move every now and again.
She was such a good dog. I miss her terribly
Happy Birthday friend. Love it, saved this video to one of my playlists
I appreciate it. I like to think outside of the box, just hoping this helps someone
Cool Anthony. Happy birthday to the Jarheads
246 years of kicking *bad words*
I like the rig idea...sweet simple and easy
I'm a big fan of simplicity
Perfect, this is exactly what I was looking for
Well done and Happy Birthday Palmetto
🇺🇲🏴☠️🏴
Thank you my friend
Or a coat hanger, or a shower curtain hook, or a large diaper pin, or a Wal mart bag or a green limb run thru the hind foot like we always done.
Abigail is a fine looking hound btw ❤
I miss her so freaking much.
@@PalmettoPrepared Happy Veterans Day
Stay safe
Great idea. So simple. Good stuff.
I heart simplicity
@@PalmettoPrepared we have a gazillion squirrels on our 8 acres here in Leesville. I'm not hunting them so that they'll be there if I'm ever in a situation where I have to. I plan on hunting on a buddies land. Kill his squirrels. Lol
Lol, you do that then all your squirrels will run over there because the grass is always greener
Cool thank you
Good idea, nice rig Anthony 👊
Thank you!
Simple and effective very nice. Would be useful for some other things as well. Carrying tools ect
Yep. Thought about my tool belt loop for my hammer and morphed it into this
That’s what I was thinking, too👍good idea
I think its a great idea, even tho I always use a green dove hunters vest with the pouch on the back, I will make this just so I have it. Thx Bro
I appreciate it. I like simplicity.
Very good idea. I know we have bird limits but I don't think we have limits on squirrels or rabbits. I will need to look.
Happy 246th Marine Corps Day.
Sorry about your friend, she looked like a good dog.
do you snare or do you shoot your squirrels and rabbits?
@@glen1arthur I appreciate that.
For me, I prefer to snare rabbits and shoot squirrel. Years ago, you could easily shoot rabbit but they are much harder to find now thanks to the coyotes
@@PalmettoPrepared Snaring squirrels is very easy find an active area then place a pole with snares running up it 6-8 inches apart and they love running up new poles and they will follow each other. 5+ is an easy catch. Just re-listen to Steve's Monday coffee. I was getting a lot of calls during it from family and I never ignore those calls.
Take Care~eh
Us Peasants..." Don't shoot"...
Have very minute experience in trapping. Only done it for about a year and some change
@@PalmettoPrepared
I've only trapped fish.......lol
I really like this. Sadly I live in California and because of the people I run into hunting I put my game in my backpack. It really helps when I run into non hunters and keeping the tradition alive. I can talk to them about the sport before they see me as " a mean killer".
I do prefer your method because the fleas can just jump off instead of being in my backpack and coming home with me.
Oh yes the fleas are the main reason I don't like the vests. Ever since I started doing this, I haven't had to worry about fleas or ticks crawling in my gear
👍
Good to know
Like someone else posted this could be used for tools while climbing as well I think
Food too. Carrot holster lol
