Trains at Birmingham Moor Street - 07/05/2024

Filmed on 07/05/2024. So, after a rather interesting but fun day we had which made of a more interesting day, we finally arrive at one of the prettiest stations in Birmingham. Situated as the main terminus of the Chiltern Mainline and also the main station of the Snow Hill Lines is the station of Birmingham Moor Street. (Season 11 Episode 12)
On this day, Chiltern Railways are running a reduced revised timetable due to ASELF overtime ban. As a result, Chiltern Railways has cut back on their Birmingham to London services to hourly. There were no shuttle Chiltern services between Leamington Spa and Birmingham Moor Street. Also, no MK3 Silver Sets were in service on this day but the class 168 Clubmans earned and did their best to keep up compacity.
Talking of Chiltern Railways, its heard Chiltern Railways has placed a bid in from Brecon Rail for the former Transpennine Express MK5 stock. Its heard Chiltern Railways are still trying to have the winning bid for them. But, we will have to wait and see what will happen.

Not on this day unfortunately. ASELF Union had an overtime ban for drivers which resulted in a revised and reduced services by Chiltern Railways.
Still, at least they kept trains running to London :-)
