Ok. This one is not exactly what the title says.
My wife and her sister will indeed be blindly rating some VERY hyped men's fragrances in the online community today.
But to make it more interesting, they will also be rating some relatively unknown fragrances that I believe are fantastic and should be hyped.
Ultimately, their job is figure which ones are hyped and which ones aren't, and what they think about them either way.

I’m a rookie in the fragrance game (not really been wearing since teens) and the reason I say that is because recently I’ve been actually buying a variety and going out of my comfort zone. I recently bought three entry level niche colognes and I’m loving it. Again to my rookie nose, they are all great. They are all from mancera: sensual vetiver, lemon line, intense cedrat boise.

Super fun video! The Cedrat reaction is priceless, lol. It's really not that surprising to me, though. Citron is a very floral citrus (especially the real life thing). I'm more surprised of the Ébène reactions. One of my favorite TF's, too.

I find that cedrat boise smells way better in the air than it does when smelling it up close. My partner wears it and I smell the scent trail and I'm like wow what do you have on?? Mind you I wear cedrat boise a ton and the way it smells in the air was something so gorgeous and new to me.
Cedrat boise is one i enjoy smelling for 20 minutes. My bottle the drydown is just so much smoke. I never find myself reaching for it.
@@ytsucksmnkyballz that's odd. I don't get any smoke from the bottle I have that is from 2017. Mine gets woody and slightly leathery. I guess some people interpret smells differently.
@@ytsucksmnkyballzi get abit of smoke with Cedrat…but Aventus drydown gives me so much smoke (2017 batch) to the point ive had 2 people ask me if ive been smoking weed…this was 5 or 6 hours into the aventus drydown.
It's very synthetic to me and there are other frags I reach for.

Eau Extreme reminds me of a wonderful trip to Mexico where I stayed in an amazing house on the cliffs of an unpopulated part of the coastline. Magical memories. Picked up the Chanel bottle minutes before heading south towards the border. 🇲🇽

Chanel Allure Homme Generique, seems legit. Also, not sure if it was intentional, but you typo'd Ébène Fumé to Ébèbe. Which is quite fitting with all the baby smell talk in this vid. 😂 And please let Gabri smell Gentleman Reserve Privee in the future, I need some affirmation for my dislike of that scent.
Glad I'm not the only one who dislikes Reserve Privee it smells too dry and confusing like is it supposed to be chocolate leaning or what. Boisee is sooo boozy good and sexy

Hawas is a pretty good cologne It depends on where you live and the people where I live at women love fresh and aquatic scents I'll get compliments every time I wear it

One of the most disappointing fragrances I've recently sampled was Xerjoff's Alexandria II. Was absolutely vile. Maybe I'm not very "sophisticated" when it comes to fragrances but I know what I like. It smelled putrid
Hopefully we can get brass and soul in a blind rating in future. Not just for the critique but hopefully for a hilarious nickname too 😂

I’m not a huge Cedrat Boise guy even though I do have it. I will say, though I don’t know how she came to the conclusion of it smells like a bad smelling flower. If she said it smells like a cleaning product I would get that. Especially off the paper I get synthetic lemon, not any flower
