Privatize the TTC
Sheridan Hotel? Car pooling? UBER, Lyft, cabs? Job security? Wages? They should be meeting at a school gym...those transportation options don't work for many logistical reasons and Uber, Ltft, cabs will surely raise prices taking advantage of the situation. What will affected individuals do? Stay home, those hard working tax payers earning minimum wages will loose jobs and income due to a blackmailed strategic strike dateline. They are not happy with 80k? Then try 40k, 50k as most of citizens. All public servants should stop these strikes which occur once thre is a government official changes...and the pm...should put back money into our crumbling country instead of sending it all abroad.

This innovative approach would not only enhance operational efficiency and reliability but also convey a clear message to the current workforce about the evolving needs and technological advancements in the transportation sector.

It be nice to have reliable transit. Why is it not deemed essential? Because there’s taxi’s.. Ubers? What about people who can’t afford that. I had a 2 & 1/2 hour walk on Victoria Day trying to get home from work because no buses ran! Google maps says it was running on holiday schedule.. still nothing. Contemplated hitchhiking & no one would pick me up. Crying while walking home after working an open-close was great. I loved it.
Talk about a scary, stressful walk home in the dark.
Ttc and all transits in the province needs to switch over to translink like they have in BC, bus passes are good threw out the province, they never go on strike the rocket can be modified to humanlless drivers like skytrain we can get rid of go transits all will be on corporation translink

I'm supposed to be going on vacation to Toronto in near 2 weeks and have tickets booked there for 2 weeks, though I'm starting to consider Saskatchewan instead seeing this.

Maybe if they gave the TTC drivers what they wanted they wouldn’t drive so poorly, the safety on those Ttc buses and streetcars for the passengers have gotten so bad in the last like five years. They accelerate and brake way too quickly. I watch the elderly fall on top of other people because of the way they break. They must fire the driver not good I ride ttc I went to my school and there’s a senior woman she lost where she got a finch east bus since she’s we are in the same bus stop I guide the woman and I did not out immediately my monthly pass for my bus pair and the driver know that I’m looking my ttc monthly pass I told to the driver wait I have monthly pass I’m still looking and why I used my visa or debit card if I have monthly pass ? I told to that driver wait I off on subway I can pay you a lot of bad manner to that driver bus from sheppard west subway to finch west. We are in hard times jobs are not a security anymore in this country therefore these employees should be glad they have a job there are a lot of people that would do a better job for lower wages, so I think that is unfair to the public that needs the transportation, I thought the service was designated as an essential service so what happened there? We need a private company to take over so the citizens that need the service have a choice and we can end this dilemma of manipulating the system and the taxpayers funds.
