Yes it is. For October you're looking at an average temperature of 22 degrees Celcius during the day. As for the water temperature, that's going to be an average of 21 to 24. As a matter of fact, early next week I'll be putting out the first of a two-part complete guide to the must-visit beaches on Kos. It will cover everything most will need to know including: where they are, how to get to them by car and bus, parking and if it's free, what's the beach and the water like, is there watersports, can you rent boats, places to eat, and other great things to do close-by.

Hi Martin, I'm glad you found the video informative. In terms of using a drone in Greece, there's generally less restrications that in the UK. Thanks for your comment Tony. Yes, there are two watersports places there which will have everything she needs. As for places to eat there are absolutely loads. Obviously it depends on what you both like so I can't really give you specifics. But some advice is: eat where locals are eating, if they try to coax you in just forget it, make sure they take cards as well as cash. Please don't worry with that, it's what I always use whenever I'm im Greece. You are going to love Kardamena, so both of you have a great time. 👍😀

Great video, We are thinking of going to Kardamena in September, As my wife suffers with Trigeminal Neuralgia I was hoping if you could tell me if it gets very windy on Kos which would be no good at all for her or is it a really calm wind free island.
Hi Mark, and thanks for the comment. As Kos is an island and with Kardamena being on the coast, it would certainly have wind. But, as to how much would not be suitable for your wife I have absolutely no idea. This coupled with the fact I'm not a medical practitioner, I can't really say or give advice. Sory I can't be of any help.
Hi Mark. To be he honest I think "windy" is a subjective term 👍 But, it's not as windy as Rhodes or the north coast of Crete. However, I do understand this really doesn't answer your question. After looking on the internet, I've found a few sites which go into a lot of detail of daily/weekly/monthly etc wind measurements on the island which would give you a historic picture over the years. Give them a go and hopefully this will help a lot more than I can with my vague answers. 👍
Yes you can. There's a bus stop about 40-60 metres just outside the terminal. Any employee will be able to point you in the direction. You can buy tickets from the driver. The schedule varies but as a guide: 07:55 , 09:30 , 10:00 , 11:40 , 14:10 , 15:35 , 17:40 , 18:35 , 19:50 , 00:15. Often there's a schedule posted in the airport or information desk may have one.

I have lived on Kos for 19 years, Please check how you pronounce Greek names.

How come you missed to mention Mastichari (the beach), we have been going there for 25 years and the village and beach are wonderful.

Can you do a video on how buses work? For example, can I get on the bus from kefalos to Kos town but get off at one of the towns inbetween?
That's not a bad idea at all. I'll have to have a think on how to do that and then see how it could be filmed and then presented. Thanks for that.
