I love Dave's insight on Liam's song here, bc in interviews with Liam, Liam makes it sound like Dave had the song pretty much in the can for him, and gives Dave a lot of the credit for it. But then here's Dave saying the song was pretty much cooked by Kurstin and Liam, and he just added that incredible drum work. Just really cool that you can see two genuine rock n roll stars have a lot of love and mutual respect.
yeah fr. and anyways, its only us that cares about stuff like that.... these guys are just artists collaborating for fun and liam has performed with the foo fighters before so its not exactly something new
Liam seems to give credit where it’s due the drums are fantastic on that song but he also never ever admits how good he can be at writing he never boasts

@@BP-or2iu which Liam album? When he was in Alice in chains yes but solo? Not sure about that. liam is way more relevant now. Most of Liams fans today are teenagers & kids in their 20s. He’s had a complete resurgence. That tells you something about how he is a great frontman & has lasted the test of time. Oasis came out 1994 & he’s had 3 straight number 1 solo records in the last 5 years & is selling out 40-80,000 venues on his own.
@@tonyh8965 WTF are you talking about? You said “best” not most relevant. Cantrell just released a solo album last year and it’s better than anything Liam has ever done. I say this as a massive Liam/Oasis fan. I don’t care if a bunch of shithead teenagers like it or not.

He’s carved out his own career with the Foo Fighters that sound nothing like Nirvana. Just because Kurt got smacked up on heroin & decided to shoot himself in the mouth doesn’t mean Dave should stop making music. Kurt took his own life & Dave should be quiet? Why?
I think that's who he is. In Nirvana, he was only a "drummer" and the last member of the band. He knew his place; he just let Kurt do the talking. Foo is his own. His personality colors the band. Actually, he is the Foo Fighter, not only a member of Foo Fighters.
