- School bus driver Catherine Maccarone told police she was on anxiety and sleep medications because she was getting divorced. The driver was allegedly under the influence of substances when she took kids on a terrifying ride. She delivered a rambling monologue to her passengers. One of the kids called 911 after getting off the bus, and now Maccarone is facing charges of DUI and reckless endangerment. She resigned after being arrested. #InsideEdition

Because when you use mouthwash in the morning itll trip the breathalyzer just a small bit so it's set to a certain amount to compensate for that possibility. Same goes for ceremonial wine for certain religions. You wont get drunk but alcohol will be present in your breath.

I hope she reades this and knows that she is loved. Everyone makes mistakes and she is allowed to feel hurt. Yet she should've been more aware of the kids that day.

This is completely relatable once my bus driver when i was in 4th grade almost hit 2 people busted the back window backing up into a outdoor basket ball hoop didnt know the route and we were late to school 45 min. It was traumatic

I'm a school bus driver and I am completely baffled at how this ignorant woman got this far. To hear these poor kids scream sickens me. A few of my kids absolutely get on my last nerve at times but I will never let their attititude or my life issues cause me to drive that bus in any way but as safe as possible.
