    Just had to adjust my rear springs after changing brand of tires and sidewall being much taller. Thanks for the super glue tip! It worked like a charm!

    Hi - I discovered this problem this morning while trying to adjust mine (I had them installed at a garage so first time trying to adjust the height).
    Found your video and two dabs of super glue later I was able to perform the adjustment.
    Brilliant tip and you saved me this morning. Thank you very much for this ☺️

    THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH. I had the EXACT same problem with the black plastic piece spinning with the collar. I must have watched 20 KW coilover-adjustment videos hoping to find an answer to the problem. I couldn't believe my eyes and ears when you encountered the same spinning. I will try this now myself and hopefully be able to adjust mine for more clearance. Thanks again...love your M3! Don't ever get rid of it.

      why don’t u just put some load on the suspension so it won’t turn

      @@mractive420 I thought about this when I encountered the same issue this morning. I went for the super glue option and it worked a treat.
      I wasn't sure if the extra load on the suspension would still allow the collar to turn. However, I'm intrigued so I will try it on the passenger side when I do it later.

      @@mractive420 how do you put load on a suspension? I hear noise when I go over pumps. I realized my rear suspension moves since the black piece is loose. Thinking about using the glue trick to see if it helps

    Very informative video. I just bought an RS5 with these springs and was trying to adjust the height and I couldn't figure out why nothing was changing. I didn't have room for the glue so I just used a pair of large channel lock pliers and turned the male sleeve while holding the spanner wrench on the nut and was able to adjust it.

      @@accelerated_motion tip, when you first install the kit put some VHB double-sided tape on the adjustment collar where it meets the body of the car. That black piece will stay put for all future adjustments.

    Wassup AM it's been a while and I hope you and your family are doing well. This is great value provided for this setup as I am watching this because I am going to exchange the BC BR setup for this KW H.A.S. so that I can retain the EDC function. You've had this setup for a while now, how do/did you like it?

    • @accelerated_motion
      @accelerated_motion  Před 2 lety +1

      Thanks! Hope you and your family are well too! Thanks for watching my video. I was extremely pleased with the KW HAS setup on this car. No issues, no weird noises, not too harsh. I sold the car so I no longer have it but it was a great setup for the cost.

    My rear suspension makes grumpy noise over bumps. I analyzed the problem and realized the black top moves over bumps. Will the glue help to make it stiff to avoid movement ?

    • @accelerated_motion

      Weird! But yes, glue will help keep the black top piece from moving. So that should help, I would think!

      I had more threads left in front to go lower for sure. The back didnt have much left.

  • @asfakhri
    @asfakhri Před 2 lety +3

    Pretty sure you're twisting it wrong way on your rear left before glueing, away=lower. You're also spinning your finger the wrong way when saying counterclockwise 🙂 Do you have the wrench sizes for front and rear as my kit was missing the two.

    • @accelerated_motion

    Wait is there no way to adjust and know exactly how much up or down you went before putting the tire back on and checking? How would you know you have the two sides exactly the same height without doing it 5 times? Lol

    • @accelerated_motion
      @accelerated_motion  Před 5 měsíci +1

      You could use a micrometer to measure exactly. I did not have one at the time so I made it as close as I could which took some trial and error.
