    Evolve you should talk about about the plans to ban car modifications in the UK and bring more awareness about it. This ain't something harmless mate, this will have long term effects.
    Car manufactures do all kinds of shady stuff in the US to prevent people repairing their own cars, all under the guise of security and health and safety.
    Everything is being played out and prophecies are being fulfilled. That slogan "you will own nothing and be happy" will be our reality. This ban has nothing to do with the environment or safety, it's about corporate greed, do not let this fool you. If people let this slide we are done, you should try and get everyone talking about it.
    There's a petition called - Ban to car modifications in the UK. Everyone needs to sign it.

    Happy New Year Imran, Aston, and to the rest of the team. Thanks so much for this video because I’ve recently purchased BC BR coil overs for mine, but it doesn’t allow for me to retain EDC as desired. I was going to exchange them for the KW H.A.S. Kit, now I definitely prefer this MSS setup. I am not sure if you carry this on your site for U.S. models, however, I will be shopping it in a moment to confirm. Thanks again!

    Wouldn't it make sense to order up some fresh rubber bits if you're gonna do all that work?

    • @EuroAutoEnthusiast
      @EuroAutoEnthusiast Před 2 lety +1

      Ideally, I would agree with you, especially since I have the funds allocated/budgeted to spend. From watching earlier videos, Imran stated that the premise of this build is to do so under a budget. Hence, modifying and replacing only the necessary parts, unless worn or one-time use. I have found a lot of value from this series because I have previously spent unnecessary money replacing old parts for new ones that were not worn and just because I was “already in there.” The money spent there could have stayed in the budget to be spent on other mods or track gear.

    • @steveb540i
      @steveb540i Před 2 lety +1

      @@EuroAutoEnthusiast It just seems crazy not to have new rubber bits ordered up and ready ahead of this type of work. If you get in there and one or two of them are perished or past it, then you're just gonna be all jammed up waiting for cheap parts. And rubber ages, who the hell wants a squeaky suspension because a coil end is pushing thru to the metal.

    Fantastic news that this is now available. Questions for the follow up video please - for those of us wanting to do a spring AND shock replacement on a high mileage E9x car, will this work with the B6 EDC compatible shocks you put on the Japan Red car, and will it solve the ride height and comfort issues you noted on that car with the B6 alone? Would love to get some comments on a straight comparison between OEM competition pack setup and the MSS/B6 set up.

    • @EvolveAutomotive
      @EvolveAutomotive  Před 2 lety +1

    Maybe a daft question, but would the B12 Damptronic kit which couples the B6 with Eibach specific springs not solve the ride height issue people have when fitting the dampers on stock springs ? How would that compare to a MSS + B6 combination ?

    • @EvolveAutomotive
      @EvolveAutomotive  Před 2 lety +1

      The MSS combination will provide a more compliant ride due to the triple spring rate on the rear. Our specific Bilstein B6 dampers are also shorter than Bilsteins own B6.
