Marvelous idea! I've often thought that the leather that comes with the Secrid wallet is the only weak part of the wallet. Tricking it out was a great idea! Beautifully done.

Damn beautiful your Secrid wallet
One quickly notices from the video ending and the free PDF download, that attempting to 'actually' insert cards into the underside of the wallet pockets results in a design feature failure. There is simply not enough room to accommodate stitches and cards into a 1/8 inch border. I would recommend a 'glue only' attempt. Or one could simply increase the length to 14.5 cm and the height to 10 cm. Enjoyed the cover tooling. Good job!

What type of glue are you using?
Where can I purchase the "smart wallet"? I actually have a couple of wallets I purchased with the same aluminum "case" but I would rather not have to pull it apart to make my own.
Secrid smart wallets should be easy to find online through Amazon or Ebay. I would check there 1st. I bought mine at a fair.

I filled an empty paint marker with leather stain. You can buy them at craft stores.
