Was it worth it Jenna? I have the Nintendo Switch OLED from before. But we mostly stare at the screen when we play games and don’t notice the Joy-Cons so much when we play in handheld mode. It looks really neat 😎 I wished they sold Joy-Cons seperately. I’m still on the fence of getting it. Like you were 😉
I pre ordered it at my local GameStop, for me coming from a V2 animal crossing switch I feel like it’s totally worth it. Better screen for when I’m on the go is a plus. Def worth it cause I got like 188 off from a trade on my old switch. First thing I did when I opened it was put a tempered glass protector on it. And comparing to what Nintendo did with the vibrant scarlet/violet and splat 3 oled I’m glad I waited cause it’s such a clean looking system.

Zelda Breath of the Wild is my second favorite to play on the Nintendo Switch. I just bought the Zelda Switch. I just upgraded from the original Switch that I bought back in 2017. I’m in the middle setting it up but I really like what I’ve seen so far. The screen resolution is a huge improvement. I also love new kick stand.

I’m in the same boat Jenna. I been watching for the Zelda switch locally for a while. I skipped the switch but now that it is with the oled and the special edition case. But disappointed it didn’t come with the new game…. :(

The short answer is YES!!!!! Any Zelda-themed console is 100% WORTH IT! *Edit = either you or iJustine should get the Hylian Sword and Shield joy con that came out for Skyward Sword HD and then you can still tell apart your new OLEDs while still both having Zelda systems)!
I’m in the same boat. I DO NOT need this and I’m very happy with my white OLED switch but Zelda is my absolute favorite childhood game so I’ll invest in one if it’s still available this summer. I got the Zelda pro controller because those have been very difficult to find.

Once I saw this was coming I spent at least two weeks trying to figure out if I wanted to get it. Yes, I’ve gone this long without getting a Switch (went with a Steamdeck instead) and wasn’t quite sure I wanted to make the investment for a system this long in the tooth. If it came with the game, even with an up charge, it would have been a no brainer. On its own, idk.

I hate that Nintendo is really cheap about their consoles. Everyone else includes something with their comsole but not any of these special editions or the standard console

So the Zelda Tears of the KIngdom Nintendo Switch..does NOT come with Zelda Tears of the Kingdom game. OK then.
If it did, the $360 USD price would shoot up to $430 USD, and like all bundles from Sony, Nintendo & Microsoft ... it would just be a digital download code.
If you prefer to have the game physical, then you would have to add another $70 ontop of all that.
Rather they keep it at $360 so you can just buy the physical copy of the game and not be forced into buying the digital copy.
