- A video overview of my recent accurate 1984 Ghostbusters Proton Pack hero shell build that I 3D modeled over the past couple months. The shell was a passion project I've been wanting to do for a long time and I felt I finally had the skills to execute it and it was a success. I hope you guys enjoy the video!

@@ChrisBoshProps I just think in reality they would be but, I get why some things aren't straight or symmetrical is because they had a deadline to meet. Also, a quick question is printable at 1:1 size of an actual pack?
@@thegoodspirit5288 Yes sir this is scaled 1:1. Your right the shell was quickly thrown together and we got the disgruntled masterpiece we all love. I just love the challenge of replicating the oddities of the original shell, doing it symmetrical and straight just would have been too easy but in hindsight would have saved me days and hours of work haha. Trying to replicate mistakes is rough. 😄

Nice vid, I want to buy a 3D printer and make one as well. I love my Haslab, and I know there are files out there so we can make one. Next is to watch vids to put electronics.

How did you get into 3D printing? How did it all start? I can tell you really enjoy it. It looks like you've been doing it for many years.
To be honest my passion for wanting a Robocop suit is what got me into 3D printing back in 2016. I didn't start getting into 3D modeling until the last few years where I kind of forced myself to learn but I'm still a huge novice compared to most. I really do enjoy it thanks for noticing, its one of those things that never gets old to me. I appreciate your comment.

Thanks Adam. No you didn't miss anything, I'm still doing fiberglass shells this was just a passion project I've wanted to do for awhile and the cold weather gave me the opportunity.
