Same here. 53. Although we were much younger than what she is here in this video when ABBA was still together(just 6 when they had their break with Waterloo and 14 when they did break up).
And at the time here in Sweden, unfortunately, their music was considered "uncool" for our young generation and I was more into the new upcoming electronic scene (with Synth Bands). Stil I enjoyed some of the ABBA songs at the time without telling anyone...
And in later years, as so many, I have discovered the genius about the songwriting and the fantastic production and god-like harmonies from the fantastic singing that came from the angelic voices of Frida and Agneta!
It's funny that their songs always have so many hidden details and many melodic motifs in an unassuming way (they are just there to complement the main theme without distracting too much) so the songs just grow and grow on you. On the first listen back then and now it was not overwhelmingly great. But the songs just get better and better the more you listen!

It's beautiful, melancholy and emotional. You can immediately hear that they are without any doubt whatsoever. There's no one to recreate their sound. I am now 60 years old and have been there the whole time. Today I feel like 15 again. I hope we can take that feeling forward in this harsh and wacky world we live today. ABBA has shown what living legends they are. Greetings from Sweden!

ABBA are a pop group that somehow transcend time. People who were not even born when they were first active love them as much as their original fans. The fact that they can come back after 40 years, with brand new songs, and be instantly recognisable, is unbelievable. It's quite literally like they have never been away. The vocals, the music, it's not changed one bit, and the fact it still sounds relevant just goes to show how timeless their older songs are. They are the ultimate pop group.

I have loved ABBA since I was 7, when Waterloo won the Eurovision Song Contest. Since then, I have cherished every single song and album they ever released. I still remember saving all my pocket money so that I could buy the single they released before the whole album. And the sheer excitement and joy of anticipating their new album, and listening and learning the lyrics that came in printed sheets in those days. No band has captivated like ABBA. When they released their last album The Visitors, it was like the most precious thing I had when I got the album, it was so sad as I knew that would be their last. But they never left. Their songs stayed with millions of fans through the years, connecting different generations in families. Their songs bring so much happiness. Even the sad songs are beautiful to listen to. Those of us who lived through their heydays and shared their musical journey were truly blessed. But to see a new generation who can now share the same joy we had back in the 70’s and early 80’s, it’s truly magical. Not only their older fans can rejoice. Now the young fans can say they too live through the new ABBA era! The last two years have been so horrible for the whole world, and now as we are emerging from the pandemic, these new ABBA songs cannot be more timely as celebrations of something wonderful and new. Suddenly there are bright lights at the end of the long dark tunnel of 2020-21. ABBA is eternal. Thank you for all your music. Peace and love to all. 💕❤️
