Well, clicking a video with a title that makes you think it's about B760 boards, but it turns out to be a really long ad just for Asus boards. Always a joy...
Hey, I heard that it might be better for a high quality B760 over low quality z790. Im thinking of buying the rog strix B760-A gaming wifi DDR5 which can go to 7800 ram speed, for this utilisation : gaming and streaming, and advanced editing on softwares like davinci resolve. Do you think it will do the work without any problem ? thanks
I have seen that the msi pro b660m-a is the cheapest board worth considering for 12th gen intel that allows full performance....the gigabyte ds3h being only i3 suitable.....is it the same for the b760 boards and 13th gen intel? Are there boards that dont allow i5 to reach full potential???
I have DDR5 B760M Pro RS my ram works at 6000 in slots 1 & 2 but not 2 & 4 at XMP profile. Idk if I should swap them out. Supposedly the 4 slots aren't that good for stability.
is the asus prime b760m a d4 a good mobo for i5 12600kf? i don't need overclocking right now and i can buy it for 106$, or i should wait for a sale maybe for BF?
Would shop around features and price. I have a DDR5 board 12700KF build with Asrock B760M Pro RS. I got my board on sale for about 99 but now it runs around 129. If there is a cheap but good VRM Z board would also consider though a B660/760 would be all you need. Only issue I'm having is ram at speed but I am getting 6000 speed in the first two slots. I would suggest the QVL memory vendor list(DDR5 ram) and to disable XMP if it causes issues while tuning ram speed. System is very snappy though and I have 3x m.2. There are good 2.5 gb ethernet on a lot of boards now, this included. I also got a VRM heatsink for my main m.2 and have a lot of storage currently (1 x 2tb and 2 x 1 tb nvmes). B760M/Z790 might be worth if they are cheap though if you build next year for upgrading, can upgrade to 14th gen refresh for cheap with the same board (Bios update). Am reading some Z690 have ram speed issues but maybe DDR5 just has to run slower for dual channel on those. Only minus was testing ram slots. It is nice to have the PCIE5 as I have a couple of PCIE4 GPU but maybe in the future I will upgrade one day (have 3060 & 7900XTX). Some boards also have Crossfire ability. Would check the sales periodically to see what boards are reliable and reasonably priced. I never had an issue for DDR4 Asrock Steel Legend is a solid Z DDR4 board but despite the ram being annoying, the build is fast both on Linux and Windows gaming etc. Make sure you get a solid click on the graphics card and the ram if DDR5. I pieced mine off of Newegg (board) and Amazon (DDR5, cpu was on sale). Maybe there will be Black Friday sales also. It's great upgrade from 9600K 3060 build I was running 32GB DDR4 3000, mostly in terms of responsiveness. I wish I had done the build sooner in some ways.
you should follow this video with comparing typical B760 boards from different manufacturers, e.g. Asrock, ASUS and MSI and Gigabyte there many options to choose from, from Asrock there are at least 3 B760 models but are they any good? BTW your review above is helpful.
is their a really good ATX not crazy, ddr4 ONLY board for 12th & 13th Gen not a big overclocker. at least C 20gb 1 HDMI/1DP If someone want a mini get an Apple Mac Mini

can U undervolt a cpu in b760 boards?
Yes you can, B760 almost has the same features like Z790 with a very little different like: USB port, PCIE, Overclock, VRM, ETC…..

Ya true. I tink only one b760 mobo support d5 ram which is the gb aorus elite ax from my knowledge
Can we undervolt i7 13700 (locked) on b760?
I did on my b760m, -0.125

So no vrm temp testing, you just only compared the specifications
No tests?
so the only boards you can overclock on is z boards?
heya, yeah
Just so you know, the Kitty brought me here.
wait so this entire video was asus motherboards... jesus
feels like asus paid this guy. Total bias

Oh that is a shame, considering English is not my first language. Thanks for the feedback
Sorry, I have only a Cat 5 cable, which supports 2.5 Gbps
