I constantly wonder that if there's nothing wrong with the MM, then why are all the dopey buggers piled onto one team rather than spread out? I stopped playing solely because of this reason. I've got like a dozen tier 10s but I'm finding I have more fun when I load up my alt account and play tier 7 and below now.

The t54 doesnt do enough module damage to insta track people unless their tracks are the "orange" color indicating they have already been damaged. Its not a hack.....
it says critical damage on the track meaning the track was taken down, if it was a critical hit that would not take the track down it'd say critical damage with a different icon next to the text
I think you did well! You essentially left the Skorpion with 3 one-hit kills near him, but he wasn't able to take advantage. In any case at that point it was already overwhelming odds. But a fun game, and that unaimed snapshot kill was really cool!
That dude did 900 dmg, so essentially 2 shots, while having atleast 3 minutes time whil sitting back there to shoot at a TS5, Panther, IS3-II, Charioteer, ST1, Wheelie, and I am sure I missed some... what did he do in the last 30 seconds? The charioteer didnt take a hit while chlling the whole day on the field. They could have won if that Scorpion wasnt that bad..
I just got this tank to get to the Obj 140 and I thought that this was gonna be an absolute pain of a tier 9 tank to deal with. But I've played a couple of games with it and I love it. I consistantly get high damage games and I just love the high dpm and the high impact on the games you have with this tank

T-54 is sentimental for me. When I started I had 1200ish WN8 and I decided I would try to get better while grinding the T62A and 140. After hundreds of games I was getting blue and sometimes even purple recents. It was the first tank I three marked and taught me how to play soviet meds back when they were meta. What a tank

Love my T-54 , got Skill as commander and girl crew, skill camo. I prefer flanking to shooting gold and 219pen is just fine. Though bought obj.140 kept this for fast and fun games.

Thoughts...T-54 standard pen of 219 is a joke at tier 9, so unless you're top tier or have a lot of soft targets it's not easy to play w/o spamming heat. Weak std pen and poor gun depression are the balances against superior Russian armor, fantastic soft stats on gun ( Skorp kill shot from 546m (!!!!!!!) while moving at 90 deg deflection to target AND the later snap shot on Panther from 247m while moving forward and with turret rotation. No other nation's tanks do this nearly as often as the Russians) . Also that IS-3 in the open was a gift
Had a 59% win ratio (Thats good for me, I'm average 52%) on Blitz, loved the tank so muuch! On Desktop, I maxed out all equipment except the X gun, 4 skills female crew, all equipment, good Ammo layout and get a winrate of 30-something% So sad, I can't play the tank...
Hi Lemming, is there a reason you use this gun on the T-54 ? It seems like most people play with the other one since it has more gun depression (I think)
This gun has more gun depression at 6 degrees versus 5 on the other. It also has slightly higher DPM, but it has lower AP penetration (201 vs 219) and worse gun handling. So, I think it's a choice between damage dealing and accurate sniping.
T-54 is definitely one of my favorites as well, 3-marked it and got a replay with it on Jingles :D Now that I own the T55A, is it worth it to keep the T-54? (crew is not a issue)
At the moment, I have been grinding towards both vehicles, but as far as I know, there are differences between them, T55A has less armour so they might require different ways of playing. If i had them, i would keep them both.
55A is more of a 140-alike, tier for tier. better gun, worse hull armor than t54. But, by driving a 55A, you are by default a higher priority target in the enemy's eyes.
I remember grinding out for the T-62A. The tank is a fucking load of rubbish. But the gring was great. T-43 is probably my favourite T7 tank in the game, T-44 was amazing as well and T-54... I kinda sucked in it, but I really enjoyed it.
I recon the 201 pen is better, but it'll depend on your playstyle and (a bit) on your aiming. But every 1v1 I had against another T54 that had the other gun I ended up winning
Cant believe you run that gun. Can you tell me why you would prefer the gun that isn't as accurate over the one that is overall just a better gun(aim time, pen, accuracy)?
The T-54 has it's strengths against other medium tanks that don't have much armor. I can 1v1 a Skoda T-50 or any other tank with bad armor and face hug him and cause most of his shots to bounce. Then I can just dpm him down with the 3000 dpm the T-54 has. Also very good camo values on the tank make it good for doing some active scouting when needed. I use optics on mine because I like to play the light tank role in some situations and with a good crew I am at around 470 meters spotting power. I don't run food.

When I played the HEAT-54, I was always bottom tier against tier 10s...... suffice it to say after the 230 battles I spent in it grinding to the Obj 140 I spent around a total of 2.8 million credits in HEAT rounds D: Decent tier 9 medium tank, just not worth it money wise Quick Edit: I was a terrible Tomato when I played the T-54, I am now a Green bean :P
@@jorgejux my experience was that 90% of getting out of tomato is just avoiding making stupid plays. Don't stop in the open to fire, don't pull out perpendicular to shoot at people, don't cross if you think there might be TDs watching, don't expose more of your tank than you have to, and try not to get into a position with no exit (my favorite example of that last one is the pit between the two hills on Murovanka). The things you need to do to avoid stupid plays are... try to second guess yourself, think of potential risks, and avoid wishful thinking. That's what helped me.
Mate, at 0:30 you say you have 77k silver but when you click battle, your edit kicks in, you change maps, and at 0:40 it jumps up to 82k and your gold changes, so rather than say what you say, maybe be a little more ( *ahem* ) circumspect
Why don't you have the damage log on? it can tell you like if your enemy is shooting only gold, they are penning you 100% of the time, but maybe if you know they are firing some low pen AP, you can maybe rely on your armor bouncing at least some of the shots you know what i mean? Not even to like complain about gold spam or some shit, really just for the sake of also maybe "he is shooting HEAT, so i can turn my tracks to him and maybe it will absorb the shot" Or maybe your logic is like putting less stuff on your screen so that you're less distracted and you can focus on the game better?
Then teach us how to deal with those stupid wheeled vehicles early game. When it was light tanks, aggressive scouting usually meant to shoot to kill quickly. Many times ignoring the EBRs lets them farm you, but concentrating them also seems to he a quick death

Wrong gun... don't play the T54 with that gun... that used to be the best gun a couple years ago... but WG changed the stats, now the best gun for the T54 is the one with 219mm of pen, because its also more accurate the D54 gun does have better DPM but it doesnt really matter, your gun handling is much worse than the D 10T25 gun in this replay you have perfect example of unncessary missed shots, because the gun handling was terrible... plus 219mm of pen means you need less heat shells, since 201mm is not realaly reliable even vs tier VIII's
Why did you edit this to make it look like live gameplay? It's very decieving. You could see prokhorovka after that you cut, you can see credits and free xp changing. It's a good game, but at least you should admit you cherry picked it.
WHAT you actually sell tanks WTF kind of WOT player are you LOL I personally do not know or care which tank does what and what the stats are is it TMI. I know it effects how well I do in game especially against players like you who everything about all these tanks. I do like the game but I wish it was a simpler game without all these stats and the game has a sever lack of cover on all the maps. i-THER is not a real word.
When I bought the T-54, I realized that its downright unplayable stock. Forget the grinding, you cant play it. If you dont have free xp to spend, dont even bother. And after I got the free xp, I realized that upgraded it was just bland, boring and unpleasant, I did somewhat decent in it, but I would rather play almost any other tier IX med, T54 looks about as interesting as a wet block of wood compared to patton or something.

DPM. T-54 has good enough armor to be up close so the accuracy isn't a huge issue.

Why did you edit this to make it look like live gameplay? It's very decieving. You could see prokhorovka after that you cut, you can see credits and free xp changing. It's a good game, but at least you should admit you cherry picked it.

I personally do not know or care which tank does what and what the stats are is it TMI. I know it effects how well I do in game especially against players like you who everything about all these tanks. I do like the game but I wish it was a simpler game without all these stats and the game has a sever lack of cover on all the maps.

When I bought the T-54, I realized that its downright unplayable stock. Forget the grinding, you cant play it. If you dont have free xp to spend, dont even bother. And after I got the free xp, I realized that upgraded it was just bland, boring and unpleasant, I did somewhat decent in it, but I would rather play almost any other tier IX med, T54 looks about as interesting as a wet block of wood compared to patton or something.
