Synopsis:
The Walk is the true story of a young dreamer, Philippe Petit, and a band of unlikely recruits who together achieve the impossible: an illegal wire walk in the immense void between the World Trade Center towers. With little more than nerve and blind ambition, Petit and his ragtag crew overcome daunting physical obstacles, betrayals, countless close calls and overwhelming odds to beat the system and execute their mad plan.

This is how it looked like in 1974. No antenna on tower1 (constructed late 70's), No WTC7 (1986~2001), No World Financial Center building (mid 80's), no Marriott Hotel (late 70's ~ 2001), No Hotel Millennium (early 90's).
The old West Side Elevated Highway was still there.
There was a building on the WTC7 site ~1967-1986, guess this video was made before the film, I swear I saw the building in the movie lol

the top side of the north towers isn't like real life ! the arches at the ending of the top aren't there its just lines of steel
you do know that the time period of the movie that he walks the rope, the towers were not completed yet, right? The exterior grey panels are not there in this panorama, or when he walked across, but notice that they are in place when he goes back to sign the beam where he crossed...
But still I understand that they weren't completed but it shows in the side that all the iron is there and they would have already placed the arches there if the rest of the outside of the side was completed
