This game came out when I was 14. I borrowed it from a kid in the neighborhood. I ended up buying it when I was 2 weeks shy of 17 and played it non stop. Listening to the soundtrack makes me want to fire it up on my Xbox One ❤
I remember being a young child with absolutely no worries, looking at the front cover of fable and being entranced with the polar opposite characters. One innocent and astounded looking into the ripples of fate and seeing the diabolical person he will become. My young mind was learning choices had consequences. And the characters outward appearance changed depending on how the character was played, I went in thinking I’d be evil, strong, ruthless. Ended up at the temple of light. Halo on my head. Eyes glowing pure. I loved that game. Thank you for showing me at a young age that life has many paths. Actions are how we traverse through the path of life
Interesting; it's a varation of the Oakvale theme. I wonder if that's the case for Bowerstone as well? Though Bowerstone is fairly different, but here you can make out the similaratiy in the theme a lot better.

I loved that Knothole Glade's music was similar to Oakvale's tune especially because the game showed that this is the town your mother came from.

Russel Shaw and Elfman were always doing good on fable. Amazing trilogy. If any game needs to be remastered its the fable trilogy.

Bowerstone theme is also a variation of the same song
True; but it's not as obvious in comparsion. It's got a faster tempo than either Oakvale or Knothole Glade.
Have you tought that maybe that similarity its because Scarlet Robe (the Hero's mom) its originary from Knothole Glade? Its what I like to think :D
