Yeah, this may not be as deep as many of their other lyrics perhaps, but it certainly resonates after covid and all the restrictions it brought.
Just feeling the music again and being among others, letting lose, losing control a bit and just having fun :)
There are some layers, someone else mentioned the double meaning of masked people (I thought of masks to prevent spreading covid at first but many pointed out it can also refer to carnival costumes, which makes sense in their part of germany).
And also "lass es kreisen" means let it circulate as in swing your hips and just moving your body and dancing in general, but I also feel like it could be read as, you know, passing around a joint, especially because he shortens it to "lass kreisen" eventually and well... it sounds like it to me :)
But overall it's just such a feel-good song to me, puts me in the best mood and gets me dancing every time

It’s about first time going out dancing after Covid. The meaning of „Lass es raus, lass es kreisen“ in my interpretation is: „Let it out, let your hips swing“. By the way: Thank you for your reaction!

So, as i understand it, it's a post covid song. Wanting to get back to dancing and losing yourself in a crowd again. And kind of how that's not exactly easy to do anymore. But how we should just dance again.
It's about going out at carnival after such a long time at home (post-Covid). AMK is from Cologne (Köln) where carnival is celebrated extensively ("Maskierten" = people in costumes/with masks).
By the way: the translation of "kreisen" can be circulate, but also rotate.
