Nice reaction. I think Scream for me, that song will leave you speechless. Midori and Miyako back and forth solos, is unreal. Epilogue, Swan song, and Edge of the world, are their beautiful songs, you will need tissues. Burden of time, Miyako plays guitar in left hand, piano with her right hand, at same time. Midori was at Namm trade show in Anaheim, her hair down, wearing jeans, and t shirt, shredding, and head banging, the Kemper booth. She is so down to earth, freindly.

I can tell you the moment I heard this band I listened to all 3 albums and all 3 EP's and there isn't a bad song on any of them the whole collection is worth having a ton of music in only 5 years.

Floor Jansen and Asami are my favorit singers. I like that you appreciate Midori because a lof of fans pay attention on Miyako. I love both of them. The very important persons are Miho and Haruna founders. The first is boss and brain of Lovebites. Great.

If you wanna see Midori in here ultimate woman power form Hammer of Wrath is incredible, watching her start her solo slowly while walking across the stage, stepping up on the pedestal, firing up the crowd, and ripping off face-melting shreds is incredible,
Swan Song is amazing also Miyako has a guitar solo and later while Midori has a solo Miyako jumps on the piano for a guitar piano duet leading into a piano solo co founder Haruna rocks the drums as usual Founder Miho holds the bass down and Asami her vocals are on point Swan Song is even more beautiful then Glory to the world also These girls were inspired by Iron Maiden and other 80's bands including Judas Priest but Asami is a female Bruce Dickenson if I ever heard one she sings the Iron Maiden style as do the duel guitars like Iron Maidens dueling guitars. except I think Lovebites are even more powerful metal than Iron Maiden.

You want to see how they start a show watch Thunder Vengeance. Love Midori all you want, Miyako is a goddess and I can't keep my eyes off of her weather she's on piano or guitar. All 5 of these ladies can play no doubt and all are super beautiful. A lot of people knock on Miyako for not being high on crowd interaction, but she plays with a calm confidence/ arrogance that just say yeah it's this simple.
Miyako is a musical Jedi. She is a stone fox. Always focused. So beautiful on the piano. Love her!

I enjoy watching your reactions Jen. Fun Fact: Both Midori and Miyako started piano at a young age. Both did not start playing guitar until they were 18 years old. It's always Miyako who plays on recording music and live. Asami was singing R/B music before she discovered metal. And one of the bands she first heard....Judas Priest!
Yes, " Groly To The World " is a beautiful song. But there is one more beautiful but also powerful song that you can't miss. It's " SWAN SONG ".Music, their play, Asami's vocal, everything is beautiful. And lyrics ! It's soooo beautiful. Yes, Asami is singing and moving like a ballerina. Please check it out. 👍😊
After watching Lovebites for over a year now, I still get stunned by their appearance. They are not your standard rock chic, with leather trousers, torn cleavage black T-shirt and bullet/stud belts. In other words, dressed as the standard male metal/rock attire. I love the way Asami, will look to the camera and has a cute and proud smile. In my sad way, I am reminded of a girl wearing her first prom dress and looking at her father.

Asami the singer was a R&B/Pop vocalist by trade. However she absolutely fits perfect with the other 4 Fantastic Virtuoso Ladies in this band. Dear God the amount of Bad Ass and Live Musicianship is Off the Charts. I know Pro artists that can only have Wet Dreams about Live performing this well honestly.
They just have "it". That unknown factor of chemistry, talent, presence and performance that so many seek and so few achieve. Funny comments on Asami as she obviously works very hard with a choreographer unless all her moves are simply organic which would be insane. She maybe the most graceful metal singer ever. Everything she does just fits her. Amazing. The thing that hooked me on Midori was the smile during the solo of Shadowmaker (the music video). That solo, still to me, is one of the best written metal solo's i have ever heard (midori-miyako-both-miyako outro) and that smile moment is pure gold. While the other female japanese bands are great in their own right, the songwriting between Miyako and Mao (the great Oz behind the curtain...) is what sets this band apart. I just hope that Victor (the record company) doesn't push too hard. These girls have been working non stop for 4 years now and given the output, have been working incredibly long hours. Give them a break along the way Victor and let them breathe...

The whole band is amazing but Miho is my fave from the band, seriously how many bassist just bust out a little tap action in the middle of a song for no reason? Plus she is probably the biggest reason this band even exists. I will concede that Midori has on stage confidence and showmanship in spades.

yes indeed, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest had a glorious baby, was the first thought I had when hearing their first song in 2017. GLORY TO LOVEBITES and all Members of The Wolf Pack everywhere!
Miyako, on her channel, said that Midori and her work together in Miyako's home studio on their guitar solos and duets. Miyako is the prime composer, Asami and Miho are the lyricists.
Midori is a beautiful woman with fantastic muscle tone and the best teeth in metal. She's obviously incredibly talented, and I love how outgoing and energetic she is on stage.
I recently went on Twitter for the first time in who knows how long and tracked down all five of these musicians. I enjoyed the trip with all of them, but I enjoyed Haruna's feed the most. She's such a wonderful personality and seems like she'd be so much fun to play alongside. Also, it was the first time I got to see Miho's face. In addition to being such a force for the band and a great bass guitarist, she's super pretty too. Love these ladies. If they're ever near Ohio, I'm there fighting my way to the front.

Since you mentioned Glory To The World being such a beautiful song, and then said Midori plays guitar like she's playing piano, you really have to check out Swan Song, the full version with the piano intro. There are versions without the piano intro, and I saw someone give you that link in another comment, but that is the wrong link. Also, this is a recent upload because the last full version got taken down, so it's probably a good idea to react to it quickly before it's taken down again and you're left with the incomplete version.

Now Jen, you know these are my girls, but I'm gonna let you have Midori. Haha! They're so damn good, every time. It's a shame that so many of their live performance get removed over and over again, but they do keep sneaking back on so keep your eyes peeled. I've watched a few interviews with these ladies, and they are very humble people indeed. I don't think they realize how amazing they actually are. You need to watch 'Raise Some Hell' next, it shows off a bit of their Slayer side. :)

Sorry, but I adore Miyako...she shreds and plays the classical piano, and is responsible for the arrangement of many of the songs. but, no matter who is your favorite, we can agree that these women are great.
