- Hello!
This is part 1 video of 2 that I am sharing with you and it's a Afrcia challenge build, where I tackled my first everf diorama of German Africa corp..
SVM stands for Svet v malem, is a scale model club here in Slovenia of wich I am a part of. All members were given a challange to build somethin Africa themed, so I decided to build a diorama. Because, why not?! :))
Out of 23 participanst, only 13 of us actually finished the challange. Wich is a bit of a shame but eh, what arte you going to do. :))
This video will cover the building of models, that will eventualy go on the diorama and in the second video, I will be showing my build process of the diorama it self.
SCALE IS: 1:35
The size of the diorama is:
28,5 mm x 19,5 mm (a smidge smaller than A4 paper)
For this project I have used the following items:
TAMIYA 351238 Kübelwagen type 82
TAMIYA 35343 German Africa corp. Luftwaffe artillery crew set
TAMIYA 35074 German tent set
TAMIYA 35111 German infanty weapons set
TAMIYA 35026 Jerry cans set
AK 8020 Desert sand
AK 8022 Sandy desert
AK 8098 Construiction foam
MAQUETT 3.0 mm thick Styrene sheet 194x320mm code: 601-07 - Zábava
Glad I found your channel, great work can't wait for more videos!
O thank you very much Shaft_Au :)
Hi Tomo, thanks for uploading the first part of this interesting build - it's always good to see something different from the usual planes and armoured vehicles. Have a great Christmas; and above all, a safe 2021 - let's hope that the New Year will be a distinct improvement over the grim year that's ending
Hi Stephan :) Thank you. Yes I hope next year will be better. I also wish you a Merry Christmas a super duper New Year :))
Nice work. Look forward to the finish.
I didnt know about the engine/mechanic kit.
It makes sense since Tamiya already detailed the engine compartment. It's like they were planning for this. Sneaky sneaky much like DLCs for games :-)
I saw this in real life, it is a beautiful model and placement of all the things. Great work! So proud 🥳😘
Thank you very much ☺️
Great job! It's nice watching you work on another model :) Looking forward for the 2nd part. I did the Tamiya's Willys Jeep, but it was not so nice to put together as this one. Probably it was an older version.
Thank you:) Tamiya has to Willys Jeeps. Which one did you build the SAS are the Willys Jeep MB?
