I just went on this tour Saturday and Monday. I couldn't believe how many shells there were. I struggled carrying them all back to my car, but it was a great struggle!! Best shelling experience I have ever had!

I just came home from a week in Sanibel. My mom was really trying to find a cone shell. We will be back next year and we are definitely going to do this trip to Kice! Thanks for sharing!
Depending on when you come the prices are going to be much different (apparently I went in "off-season" but it's so worthwhile if you really want to find a ton of shells!
THANK YOU SWF BEACH LIFE!! Your videos are the reason I contacted Marco Island Boat Tours. I took 2 tours. One last Saturday and yesterday on Monday. The 10,000 Islands are GORGEOUS! The shelling is AMAZING!! I seriously can not believe all the shells I got! I will need a suitcase just for my shells to get home. Sooooo many Florida Fighting Conchs, Tulips, Lightening Welks, Scallops, Nutmegs, Jewel Boxes, Apple Murex, and more. I was shocked by all the treasures on these islands. My sister loves shelling too. She came from out of state just to experience this. I never would have known about these tours if you hadn't shared them in your vlogs. Yes, wear water shoes. I did and so grateful I did. I can't say enough about these tours. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! I wish I could share pictures here of all my Florida shells. If any of you get the chance to take one of these tours, do it. You will be glad you did! 😊

Oh my goodness!! Shell heaven!! 🐚🐚😍😍 I wouldn’t have been able to pass over those Conchs!! That’s a bucket list shell for me! I’d have to bring at least one wagon with me because I would collect just about everything!! My favorite ones, at least!!
In retrospect, I should have brought 2 shell bags. One for the FFCs and the other bag for everything else! Thanks so much for coming along with me!

I literally said "Good God" out loud when you showed the haul! How's your back after that shelling adventure? My back was hurting just watching you bend over so much! Instead of the "Sanibel Stoop", you probably had the "Kice Stoop" after this amazing haul!
I'm a little on the tall side and was just thinking last weekend if I were shorter I could probably scan the beach better! Shelling doesn't bother my back - yet ☺️ I'll have to keep it in good shape by shelling as much as I can!

This island was fabulous. Fantastic finds. It was so amazing that even as you were showing us what you just picked up I could see other shells and I was like you got to go your left or up a little there's another shell. It was amazing. Loved your finds.
It was driving me crazy how many shells I missed or didn't check out, but I certainly can't complain. There were just so many - it was amazing!
When I saw shells like that I said it was like I had died and gone to heaven. What a haul and how much fun you had. ❤

It truly was a special trip with SO MANY fantastic shells everywhere. It was a lot of fun and I can't wait to go back with my own kayak so I can spend as much time as I want there!!!
We were at Keewaydin Island today and talked with the lady that shelled with you yesterday at this video location. She said to make sure to watch this video because the shells were amazing and she was right!!! Thank you for sharing this on You Tube. I love those bright orange juvenile horse conchs with their candy corn tops! I could not get enough of all those shells on Kice, it was so fun to see so many goodies on the beach and rolling around in the surf. It really was a great day for murex, banded tulips and gaudy nauticas. Wow, I can hardly wait until my next visit to SWF, as always, it was a great video and thank you for taking us with you!

Your ribbed cantharis color is just like the one I asked Jose about. The museum site shows one like that. This trip was really a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Your display of shells at the end was just a beautiful collage of color and art! Happy for you!😘

Oh my goodness!! There were sooo many shell's!! I found myself screaming out don't forget that one and that one oh no you missed it lol I was so happy for you and want to thank you for your videos and all the wonderful information on all the shells and on all the critters too. LOL - yes I did show great restraint not picking up too many of the FFCs - I love them to death but they are HEAVY! I try to pick them up as I'm leaving the beach but my bag was full so I only ended up with a few juveniles. It was such a fun day - thank you so much for coming along!
If I could have a walk on this beach for 1 day in my life I would be very grateful. I am disabled and hardly ever can visit the beach but shells at our beaches aren't nearly that beautiful! Lucky lady you are. Love to watch your video. I can shelling together with you!

All those treasures… I had to come back & watch this again. It’s so bittersweet as I get thrilled that I can be there with you virtually & get to look out for the shells you miss & enjoy the ones you find. Then, I put the phone down & realize I’m still here in Kentucky.
Oh! One more thing, please tell me where I can find your watch band? I’ve admired it for so long now & I just hope it’s still available wherever you got it. It’s just so lovely.

I like tracking my activity and sleep and you only need to charge it like once a week so it's great for me. I've killed the light and the notifications don't always work but I'm going to wear it until I totally kill it!

Wow, oh WOW! That was amazing! Thank you for your awesome videos. I just discovered you this weekend and I’ve spent ALL days watching one right after the other. Thanks for showing your scooper and glad it’s repairable and also for the tips on what to take. Do you already have a video of what your fragile box looks like and how you carry your shells. What kind of cart do you take for all of your things?
I have shown my trusty shell bag in a previous video, along with the little plastic box I carry my small or delicate shells in: czcams.com/video/McjkI-8etZ4/video.html
And because I usually walk a lot I don't bother with a cart. I carry everything I need in my backpack and then I have my shell bag slung over my shoulder. I've got it down to pretty much a science at this point!
What a haul you had! You definitely know it's a good day when you have to split into two videos! The gaudy nautica at 4:30 is interesting since it only has the background coloring. It's lost it's patterns and only has the background tinge to it. I'm pretty sure that's natural, and it seems to be prevalent in the 10,000 islands area but no where else.
Kice was amazing! I couldn't believe how many great shells I found in just a few hours. I've found maybe one or two other gaudy's with that color and I thought it was weird, but it keeps things interesting in trying to figure out what all these shells are. Hope you had a great summer!

Just got back from a 2 week trip down the Ga/Florida East coast with my mom! Favorite shelling spot we found was Jekyll island! I found whole shark eyes, most with hermit crabs but a few empty ones! I knew what they were because of you 😊

I didn't know that! This was the second time I've been to the northern part of the island and boy oh boy - those lace's and gaudy's and tulips were everywhere!

I am so happy you found so many shells on Kice this time! It made me want to go back so badly! I was a little disappointed that when you went on your kayak trip you didn’t find so much so glad this was better. Even though you didn’t mention it there looks like there were tons of fighting conchs there too. So different than Sanibel where you are lucky when you find a tulip, lace murex or fighting conch. You found an unbelievable amount of tulips and gaudies!! We found a lot of minis there too. My daughter fills up a whole acrylic bead box with them. I will be looking forward to you next trip to Sanibel.
Now that's a fantastic idea! One of those small boxes for the tinies. I just put all of mine together in a bowl but should I want to start organizing any, I'm definitely getting one of those boxes! I actually have my "Special" shells in one - never thought to put tinies in there!

It wasn’t too small but had compartments. We found it at Walmart.

I went to the cayo costa shell tour this weekend and the sand is so much easier to walk on over there . It’s nice and form and I don’t sink haha. Very different to here in Miami. There were shells on the shore which is rare here and so many shells u don’t usually find here !
I haven't shelled over in Miami yet, but boy the beach over at John MacArthur is rough walk! That sand is deep and soft! Some of the beaches over here are so hard packed you can ride a bike on them! I'm glad you enjoyed your time over on Cayo Costa!

How beautiful! We were in Sanibel Island 🏝 last week. Unfortunately the shelling wasn't great yet I wasn't too disappointed because I was having back pain issues 😞 😔. Spent alot of my time on the lanai listening to the ocean 💖 .My family has been visiting the Island 🏝 every year since they built the causeway so I have a collection of beautiful shells 🐚 😍. Need to visit this Island next time
Whoa - you got to see the old causeway! The currently one was built I believe in the 70's. The island must have been incredible back then. But I feel like they do a great job keeping the island lush and not all built up. It truly is a magical place! I'm sorry you had back issues but glad you got your dose of vitamin sea 🌴🌊🐚❤️

Your video last week was the last straw. I could no longer resist the call of the beach so I dragged Steve down to Port Monmouth today in the rain to look for shells. No where near as nice as Sanibel but we did find some nice beach goodies, I'll email you some pics later this week. Did you know that Bayshore water park in port Monmouth NJ is the best place to find shells in Jersey? I had no idea and to think I've lived 30 mins from it my entire life! Doesn't beat SWF tho!! Thanks again for another perfect weekend ending!

I didn't know that NJ could have anything decent! I only ever found the quahogs and one year some snail shells - not sure if they were little moon snails or maybe even land snails that ended up there but I didn't fall in love with beachcombing until I got down here. There is just too much to love! I'm glad you found a few goodies though and didn't have to make the trek all the way to Florida!

When I'm not finding too many "good" shells that is exactly what I do. I start looking around for something else to talk about. I talked about some common shells a few videos back (Fort Myers Beach) but if I'm having a "slow" day I'll start looking for some of the shells that I don't normally collect!

I was so excited to find my one gaudy nautica on Sanibel a couple of weeks ago and look at your haul! Love the Muraxes as well. Maybe next time I go that way I will book Kice Island trip.

Wow so much fun you should invest your time in making shell Mosaic mirrors you can make a lot of money. If I went on that shelling adventure I would need a floating tractor!!!
I made one shell mirror - not a mosaic but it was really fun once I got started. I never know what I'm going to find and in retrospect, I should have brought several shell bags!

I had an urchin day like this last week on an island and I gotta say it, island shelling days have been my most mac-daddy shell days! A mini fraction of the usual competition
Gosh I'd take a tent and spend 2 days on just that shell pile lol holy smokes!
Oh you could do some DAMAGE there! it's a good thing there wasn't an urchin pile like the one you found, I had. I would not have been able to take any since my delicates holder could probably only fit 2-3 and my shell bag was FULL!! Kayaing is the way to go - I'm definitely taking mine down there soon!
