"salamin" means "mirror" it came from the famous scene from Snow White where the witch asked the mirror, "Mirror, mirror on the wall who's the fairest of them all?" so "Salamin, salamin" is translated to "mirror, mirror" but instead of asking who is the fairest, the song is about asking the mirror whether the person she loves, loves her back :)
They have been outperforming the Filipino bands here in the Philippines. They are coming to snatch the 4 million monthly listeners in 1-2 days. They are the no.1 in almost Philippines charts except the album charts.
They are just so natural, not less & not too much. Love that these girls wrote some and choreograph mostly of their songs.
They actually remind me of Spice Girls. That girl Powell image and bubbly pop. Their style is the late 90s pretty cute girls like Claire from Clueless! My older sister still has all that stuff from when she was a teen. I couldn't pinpoint what Bini reminded me of until I saw my sisters magnets and old 90s pop posters of teen celebrities 😅
hahaha i mean even earlier kpop groups were inspired by 90s groups, so people saying that these are all kpop is just wrong 😅.. i think we need to throw some of those 90s GGs out there like spice girls, bwitched, TLC, Destinys Child, etc. Kpop probably have the better choreos, styling and production but when it comes to music, they all are inspired from earlier generation of pop genre. That is the beauty of life, it’s a continuous cycle. ❤
