Track10Trains Railfanning my dad has a treasure trove filled with tyco rolling stock and engines. Most notably, the 1776 ALCO. And he gave it all to me lol
Wow thats awesome. Good deals. Unfortunately there aren't that many antique shops in New York City that have trains & other goodies I spotted in the video.I Enjoyed this one.🚥🚂🚞
Man, I gotta make a trip down there when I get my passport. I was drooling over all those O-gauge Lionel items! Those HO scale Lionel cars (and loco) were a pretty cool find too, never knew they made any HO back then.
Cool finds man. Lionel HO is very collectible due to how difficult it is to find. I have a locomotive i am now restoring, it is an AHM Missouri Pacific and it is in need of a few new parts. It was from my grandpas collection and it fell of his train table and has a busted truck missing the electric pickups. I know the motor works excellent, i have a good set of videos based on this engine and i hope to get it running soon. I also just got a sharknose tyco and have posted 2 videos on it already. Go check them oit if you already havent
hehehe yeah, here in NC the internet is pretty bad too so upload times are out of wack, i feel you though man, good luck on all three of the engines you bought
That's a great haul....really good bargains. I'm sure the $3 loco will run just fine after a little TLC...and the $5 0-4-0 looks ready to go. Nice one :) Tom
IIRC those Lionel HO dies kind of made the rounds if the caboose has the molded marker lights. From the boxes it looks like Lionel's venture into HO from the 80s and not the 50s/60s literal half O scale versions of the Lionel catalog. With the proviso of some of the details might be off due to age related CRS the dies started off as the Cox ( yes the line control Glow Fuel powered airplane Cox)train sets from the mid 70s or so. After Cox pulled the plug I think AHM picked up the dies as I remember the molded markers on AHM rear cupola cabeese and then Lionel after AHM folded. Last I saw of the old Cox train set stuff was under the Model Power label.
There’s a store down here in Henrico Virginia and it’s called aunties odd balls and clairs they have like 5 lots of cheap trains and one lot has some nice train cars with weathered sides for only 8 bucks a piece
love that conrail.. do you need my address. lol .. I liked the group set that you didn't get. with the gold B&O they do seem to have some good and some bad. but nice stuff you got.
Hey that Union Pacific locomotive is a mantua. All you have to do to get to run is to put some oil on the right spots and the loco will run very good I have experience with that same type of loco I have 2 one works and the other one is currently broken
You have been buying more locomotives argh i cant let you have more than me😂 Great haul at a great price that conrail loco was great just the sort of thing i would buy but it would need to be a CP Rail loco.
I believe the little silver switcher you picked up goes to the Tyco Transformer set don't quote me on that wish we had prices like that here in where I live and that blue train you have I seen on eBay for like $50 Beyond a good score for $3
In Pennsylvania USA they could there's a place called birthday square Allentown PA and they have some of the best deals out say in Pennsylvania because that good deals and you could buy AA life like diesel switcher look about it for $50 work a bit on it pretty good prices use we could get a life like wall cab diesel for $2 for lucky if your lucky
i have a old ahm? rs-3 that appears to have the same running gear as your 3.00 conrail. the plastic trucks (surrounding the wheels were broken beyond the help of glue. i wonder if there is anywhere to get replacement parts oe would you sell some of yours?
Michael Lindsay most people who restore model trains do this to test the motor to ensure it runs without using a controller. 9volts is enough votes to get a motor spinning
You and model Railroadnig are meant to be this is how you spend your money and not regret it.If you can find a chick that is gonzo bout Model railroading would be sweet.
I would have bought that Tyco AA set in a heartbeat I love Tyco stuff.
If it was 25 I would have bought it
Track10Trains Railfanning my dad has a treasure trove filled with tyco rolling stock and engines. Most notably, the 1776 ALCO. And he gave it all to me lol
Nice buys man the metal steam engine is made by Mantua I have parts for that engine
Fantastic deals you got there,I’ve actually have had some simmilarilly good finds,an athearn SW1500 for $3 and an athearn F7 that was DCC for $5
0:34 I love how there’s a ertl Donald just chilling on top of the cars.
Same.
Same
@@the_autism_express OK OK. HOW? I was just watching your videos this morning!
3:53 I bought one of those recently for $40
you got some awesome stuff for a little bit of money.. i know you'll get them all working... vinny
Wow thats awesome. Good deals. Unfortunately there aren't that many antique shops in New York City that have trains & other goodies I spotted in the video.I Enjoyed this one.🚥🚂🚞

Awesome bro
That is great! Great Deals!!! Linda 🚂🙂👍🏻
Very neat purchases! Thanks for sharing! ~Pedro
Nice haul
Nice. 3 bucks wow :))
Really love the metal steamer.
The little steamer is also made by Lima and comes with a tender.

I will, I would have already but I barley have an internet connection here in maine
that sucks man
Well it's quite a contrast in comparison to the 40 megabit internet I have back at home.
hehehe yeah, here in NC the internet is pretty bad too so upload times are out of wack, i feel you though man, good luck on all three of the engines you bought
No i do't need bigboy parts, but if you have parts for an AHM BL-2 Diesel, i'd be happy to take em for use on my BL-2 in restoration
That's a great haul....really good bargains. I'm sure the $3 loco will run just fine after a little TLC...and the $5 0-4-0 looks ready to go. Nice one :) Tom
The 0-4-0 steamer looks like it originally had a tender that the previous owner removed & replaced the draw bar with a knuckle coupler.
Petemonster62 Yeah and I had to remove the knuckle coupler because it was causing issues with the gear worm.
Cool
I love that last train you got
me too drew that is a real beauty for an all metal locomotive
Kevin Jenner :)
Nice finds
Wow I have that same 5.00 steam loco but from a different railroad also that loco did have a tender.
That might explain why someone tried to put a coupler on it

Last I saw of the old Cox train set stuff was under the Model Power label.
Lional's GS-4 Daylight engine was picked up by Bachmann. They might own most the the does now.
I'm pretty sure the Cox GP-9M went on to become the Walthers Trainline one along with their log dump car set.
the concord trains passenger cars done in Southern Railway was never painted that way. Southern Railroad had silver passenger cars
Awesome I must go to a antique store when I have some time
Antique stores often have some trains, but you may get a better deal at a model train show.
THANK YOU...for sharing.
The 4-6-2 is a Mantua/Tyco. Great buy.
I restored that exact UP steam engin it never ran. All it needed was to be cleaned and lubricated and it runs very nicely.
They're great engines, but yes - like most machines, they need to be cleaned and lubricated.
Yep and by doing that it will make them last a little longer

I think the armature is rusty and needs to be sanded too
It's hard to keep a good Mantua down. 😆
You have been buying more locomotives argh i cant let you have more than me😂
Great haul at a great price that conrail loco was great just the sort of thing i would buy but it would need to be a CP Rail loco.
If you have 400 then I don't think I will ever catch up to you, eventually I will run out of shelving space
Scrumptious Model Trains haha im at 152 locomotives and little space to put them
Nice
Good video. ♡ T.E.N.
I didn't know that the BN hopper was lionel ho and I have one aswell and I was looking for Lionel ho!
Could be lionel or rivarossi I believe
The black locomotive is a tyco mantua I had a chessie system one a while ago
You know me so well bro
Interesting.
That lionsl gold chessie gp7 is super rare
Nice! I got a big box of stuff for free!
Cool, what kind of stuff?
Scrumptious Model Trains Mostly rolling stock, but there was an old DC loco in there too
Hey man I just subscribed to ya and I love you channel. And I was wanting to know. How do you clean your track?
Cotten swabs and rubbing alcohol, I also use this thing www.hobbylinc.com/peco-rail-cleaner-abrasive-rubber-block-model-train-accessory-pl41
The Union Pacific Steam engine is a 60’s tyco steamer
WOW! The metal steam locomotive was an awesome find. What brand is it? thanks for sharing, Chuck RVRR
According to others in the comments it's a Mantua
Scrumptious Model Trains YES IT IS A MANTUA
great, when you get it cleaned up it should be a great runner
I believe the little silver switcher you picked up goes to the Tyco Transformer set don't quote me on that wish we had prices like that here in where I live and that blue train you have I seen on eBay for like $50 Beyond a good score for $3

My friend goes to antuque store. And gets a good haul.
Are you on vacation because I thought you will use your layout
The Union Pacific is made by Tyco an great finds!!!!
I didn't know they made them out of metal.
Scrumptious Model Trains I think The Union Pacific steam engine is made by Tyco an is from 1974
Did it close forever? Because I want some of them for my layout!
They reopened in 2018
THAT BIG METAL STEAMER IS TYCO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
no it's mantua dude or some other brand, IDRK
It was sold by tyco but built by mantua
Well gosh, is that the Reeds in Maine?
A great little store, if I'm correct.
It sure it, I enjoy going there.
Hey did you delete a video of you going to a antique store previous this one? I cant seem to find it??
If I go with you I buy all the Hot Wheels and the other cars too.
I suspected someone would like those

Next video: Buying More Shelves for All My Locomotives.
Did anyone else know the video is 5:55 long
I just bought a Chattanooga train no 917
The Chattanooga 917 is a tyco
How big is your layout by feet Because I Finished one table and I want to add on it
i saw a tyco 4078 steam loco
How come you don't test these engines on your layout you got in this video
Because I was in Maine where I don't have a layout.
i have a old ahm? rs-3 that appears to have the same running gear as your 3.00 conrail. the plastic trucks (surrounding the wheels were broken beyond the help of glue. i wonder if there is anywhere to get replacement parts oe would you sell some of yours?
Try IHC (International Hobby Corporation.) They took over AHM in America.
how much was that C&O Locomotive in the display case??
$18
Where is this store at i go and buy it all
It's at 1773 Post Rd, Wells, ME 04090
Same
How do u do that with a battery
Michael Lindsay most people who restore model trains do this to test the motor to ensure it runs without using a controller. 9volts is enough votes to get a motor spinning
Couldn't explain it better
You and model Railroadnig are meant to be this is how you spend your money and not regret it.If you can find a chick that is gonzo bout Model railroading would be sweet.
Ho athearn cn
sd40-2
I saw alot of nice locos there and you did not buy them =( here in wisconson we have NOTHING LIKE THAT at our hobby shops and resales
I can't buy every locomotive I see, my current spending is already burning my wallet.
@@SMTMainline same, just i wish I saw trains like that

Yeah, good luck finding traction tires for it
No problem
No problem!?! they don't make them any more
3:45 Mantua?
Maybe
Or Tyco/Mantua
0:34
Ertl Donald
Might be late to the party but that up steam engine you bought if not an early mantua a very late gilbert (American flyer ho) very collectible
Not hardly. It's Mantua. I've been in model railroading for 60 years.
😡😡
What's that for?
@@SMTMainline I don't know why she put on this angry face.
