I have cerebral palsy as grown up with with siblings in a Christian/ pentecostal background with both parents. Things were still not easy and they still continue to be difficult. Family has helped me and contiuses as best do their availability. As well as caregiver and staff . Yes I think dealing mentally is worse than physically. In counseling and on both sides of the struggle Jesus has always been there for me through tears pain and the laughter that he allowed to come into my life. When I said Lord you know I have a lot of issues and my body isn't right or normal. I'm not sure how I will how it will be in the future. Even though you know. Are you sure you want me on on your team? God responded with verse first Corinthians 6:20. That his plan is to help me he has and continues to. For that I'm grateful.

You are amazing. My daughter has CP , quadriplegic. She is only 3 years old and I know hard times are coming. But, I also know that God has a plan with every person on Earth.
Let Him paint the path of your life and you will end in his arms when the day is coming .

My daughter has cp as well she’s hemiplegic. She’ll be 5 in a few months. Just wanted to say hi. Since ur message is fairly new. Sometimes I feel hopeful and positive others hopeless and break down. Then remember it’s time to cook or clean or leave for therapy and off we go. I don’t know why, just thought I’d reach out to you

@@shawndahjohnson737 hi Shawndah. Thanks for your text. It's the same here. We are limited as humans but we have the most special children ever. I was so desperate one day and praying for a sign from God . "Please Lord, show us that you are everything about Emma and our family is in your hands".
After three days Emma started to talk, she had no words before.
She is chatting a lot now, still struggling of course but She tells me what she needs.
God is amazing. Don't give up. Writing from Ireland
I'm sure your are an amazing mom to your little one

I’m an adult I need help transitioning into an adult. A job relationships, emotional and mental problems. I’m still lucky to be here and have had good experiences in life but the doctors and stuff haven’t done a damn thing. If your out there and can help with any info I’d appreciate it greatly

Ok, Let's get real here. Cerebral Palsy is progressive as you get older. You have more issues with walking, standing and moving around. Age catches up with you faster than the non cp population. Physical Therapy is of value to prevent your body from slowing down even more than it already does. Physical Therapy is just one part of the picture. Equally important are the psychosexual and vocational training of the individual with CP.

Hi there! I'm struggling to choose between PT and PA school. I have shadowed both and enjoyed them both. I have never had any injuries to where I went to PT and knew that I wanted to do it, like most people do. I am wavering now, because I am afraid that we won't be needed anymore and that the profession will get boring. You always need nurses and doctors. Plus, their pay outweighs debt, unlike PT salaries. How did you choose PT? Any advice? I am in my last year of PTA school.

Hi my grandson whom i care for has cerebral palsy i help him with physical therapy i learned how to so i can help him thrive he turned 3 in dec when he was born he was born of 1 pound he was a twin unforfunatly his twin didnt make it my daughter gave birth before she was 6 months after the labor i love my grandson with all the love in my heart and soul what he has dont stop me from loving him on the contrary i love him even more i do the physical therapy while making it fun for him such as making funny faces and funny noises as i count to distract him and i do this every day that he is so use to it now he is still none verbal he says little words here and there he calls me nana and calls his mom says dada at times but he is doing well now from not moving at all to what he does now on his own he turns and does tummy time rolls over and when he is in the crib he puts his legs through the crib bars and pulls himself up and sits up while holding on i believe physical therapy is a very important part of everyone with cerebral palsy and should be a part of their life as that will help them thrive to get them ready for the future i am a single grandma so all of my time i dedicate it to him and i couldnt be anymore proud so keep up the great and wonderful work you doing spread it around because many people will listen and watch your videos and that would encourage them to make the best because life is beautiful regardless of any disability and even if people see you as different is okay to be different but that dont mean you anyless important and anyone can have their opinion but that dont mean that you have to change anything about you because God made all of us in different shape and sizes some with disability and some without but we all have a purpose here in life and if anyone cant accept that then maybe they dont know how much of a beautiful soul they missing out of their loss not yours
