Boomers are what's gotten us into this mess. You were handed the keys to the greatest civilization ever and you decided to sell out manufacturing for the highest bidder. You raised children with both parents working 9-5, divorce skyrocketed in the boomer generation. No wonder the youth of today are so disenfranchised. Boomers have destroyed everything

Boomers got a good work ethic from our parents. I'm 71 and am still working off my farm two days a week, and on the farm for the rest. I can't do as much, but I can still do. There is a lot of satisfaction in being able to still contribute. By lengthening life expectancy, we have also kept older people in the work force. And we actually work better than the kids. We know when to put our phones away.

Gen X is the author of these problems: they are the university lecturers that tried to brainwash the Millennials, they are the HR managers, the DEI executives, the MSM journalists and the majority of the politicians. Biden isn't a Boomer, he's Silent Generation--the generation of Derrida and Charles Manson. As a Millennial, I thank god that the Boomers are hanging on to try to keep the ship afloat until we Millennials can take over.

I just looked up all the prime ministers of England from 1772. Many of them were in their 70s. At a cursory glance the average age was mid to late 60s. In those days people expected older men to have the experience and wisdom that comes with age. Our youngest pm here in NZ was a girl fresh out of school who'd never had a real job. She was a useless disaster. The only thing she excelled at was performative empathy. I'm 71 I couldn't bear to be working at that level. But Our current deputy pm is in his mid 70s and he's wise and wiley. Just what we need.

Politics determines how wealth is distributed within a country, while wars and diplomacy determine how wealth is distributed between countries.
The majority of the US population is enjoying these outcomes of government policies: Economic inequality, inflation, stagnant real wages for the last fifty years, costly healthcare, an expensive education system, student loan debt totaling $1.7 trillion with an average balance of $38,000, poor public transportation systems, racial inequality, mass incarceration, the militarization of police, deteriorating infrastructure, housing affordability, homelessness, the opioid epidemic, and gun violence.
Instead of prioritizing the welfare of their people, they meddle in other countries to spread their version of democracy. The question is whether the USA can continue to survive with its version of democracy, not whether it can have any leadership role in the global order.

My husband has a sympathy for Biden because he thinks people are persecuting him because he is old. He’s 86. I almost convinced him that it’s a different problem. It has nothing to do with age, but his policies, his ideology, his weakness making him prone to accept too many suggestions from Obama and Hillary. Please don’t say it’s age. It’s not age. Not everybody is demented beyond 80. And not every 80 years old are clueless because of age. Actually, when they are smart and have all their marbles, they’re better because of experience. I know experience cuts both ways, but so does inexperience.

Ideally it may be wrong, but realistically it's probably what's going to happen. Gen X will largely be passed over simply due to demography. We will be history's ignored middle child. It also didn't help that over 1/4 of our generation was aborted. Based on numbers, Millennials and Z'ers will likely take the reigns after the boomers die (cuz it doesn't appear that they'll relinquish power of their own volition).

I'm 73 retired and vote republican sents I was 28 about 7yrs after I came home from nam the change in the Democrat party was going to far left and now way to far left. I truly hope we come back from the party that is really destroying our country and all our freedoms our forefathers fought and died for all the way up to today. I pray for this America and our way of life to continue. I pray Amen to all true free loving people. God bless
