  • Episode 1 from Series 3 (1993) of this much underrated comedy series. This series was - for reasons known only to 2Entertain - pulled at the last minute from DVD release. So, seeing as 2Entertain don't want us to buy it, here is Episode 1 in its entirety. Dedicated to the memory of true comedy legend Geoffrey Perkins...

" ... and then I come out, dressed... as a chicken." I still remember that from the first time around. Absolutely hilarious! Thank you for posting.

This show just got better and better as it went on. Series three was hilarious from start to finish, and it's hard to believe that this was the last one. 😢

Wonderful ensemble, superb writing. For me Michael Fenton-Stevens is the star. The glue that holds it all together.

czcams.com/video/q2UaB8gpy8s/video.html is a piss-take of an advert for a credit card that ran on British television at the time. Can't remember which one but it did involve a dad writing to his grown-up daughter encouraging her to swim with the dolphins.

Is there a sccript available for this episode? Thank you!

  • @thefenlanddefencesystem5080

Ah yes, that period in the early 90s when all British TV did was unimaginatively churn out period dramas based on overrated novels from the prior century (or Catherine Cookson's drab fantasies).
At least they sold well in the U.S.

You don't like them then don't watch them.
