Trash but I'll still use it when I want to switch it up. The horizontal recoil is just so bad though

I have liked the Aug so far. Haven’t made it to a lvl or money to run the upgrades or by the more costly guns yet but soon
I like it, just hard to use with the base scope. Once I get the mount it’s gonna be something I use more
This just reminds me that the G36 is still hilariously underperforming against the other 5.56 options in the game, nearly nobody runs it. It doesn’t even spawn on Raider/Rogue loadouts to have a cheap flea market price.

I use short g36c for awesome cqb. The recoil is pretty meh, but the gun looks and feels still awesome.
The gun doesn't even line up with sights despite mosin sights, ak sights, pso sights, etc, lining up. It's called zeroing, and they are acting like our pmc forgot how to do that, for THIS one gun

well dunno, long g36 has strong vertical but really low horizontal and no ergo whatsoever

It's a matter of we had 4 wipes of them being almost lasers then we had the 308 m62 metta after then the bp after that. I would prefer the laser beams for the cost. Make aks do more damage

Having low recoil vs high damage. Also would like the price of the bolt actions to come way down as well and for guns to actually sell for something at the traders instead of just striping the attachments off.
@@GiRR007 yeah bolties do need to come waaaay down, I think they should make bolt actions have less ergo hit from scopes, dmrs have mid impact on ergo from scopes, and AR's have a higher impact to their ergo or camera recoil (not both) for scopes. Would make it so scopes don't have to cost more than a damn gun 🙎

Yeah, my ar15 that's in 556 has far less kick than the ones in tarkov
The ammo changes have really helped 556 become viable again. I've been running the MK16 just about every raid now. I was hopeful for the aug but sadly it's a bit of a flop atm. I hope some of the suggestions from Treys video make their way in, it'll definitely help the aug out along with the entire game

I'm actually getting into AUG recently. While it is hands down the worst 556 spray gun in the game, it performs really well in other roles. Since no one likes it, like the ugly duckling, it's flee market price is usually pretty low, and even lower for it's original suppressor. With suppressor and optics on, the ergonomics is still pretty pleasant.
And the cherry on the top - accuracy! 1.15 MOA is exceptionally good for it's size/weight and no modding required at all, making it an excellent DMR for fast-paced long range sniping. And it's hip-fire is still good enough to fend off pushers in CQB.
You tend to run it single shot for most fights?
I agree with this, found myself enjoying the AUG for the longer range engagements, don't need to lead really with shots, snappy and really easy to manouver.
Because of the overall length it is great for close quarters as well

Horrible hidden stats make it bad full auto. If you use as a dmr you can get an adar cheaper
It feels awful even on semi, because of random recoil. its not normal when gun recoils in different directions between single shots

Idk maybe it’s just me but I totally think something changed on it. I used it and it’s pretty decent now the shorter one. The ergo is terrible but it’s definitely better than the Aug

I've still yet to run the aug I got from the Christmas gift. With my poor aim and it's recoil, I should just hand it to the first pmc I see. Seal did a great job with that cover image too.
Initially messing with it as of posting this comment, the A3 w/ low profile rail and a red dot (Kobra w/ ring), Ratworx adapter, SF3P muzzle device, and Monster (full size) feels fairly crispy. Actually on-par with my signature chad slaying setup for cheap, the AKS-74UN (often very cheap) which saves money, throw the Kobra sight w/ the extra ring thing (nice for not losing ergo mostly, and almost free) onto the dovetail, Zenit B-11 handguard w/ Magpul AFG foregrip, muzzle brake from Skier, and buttpad on the standard stock, for 50/203 recoil. Which is interesting, because that AUG setup SHOWS numerical values of 38/142 and only feels SLIGHTLY better, so don't trust the numbers, actually use it in your Hideout range and all that. Actually, it also shines against similar suppressed AKS-74UN setup (aside from wafflemaker, but it's insane pricey), because the AUG still has slightly higher ergos, so that's a bonus.

also scar tip you can by the scar lower at mechanik and basicly do the adar durability refresh trick for the scar
using the STG 77 A1 with the irons and the telescopic isn't that bad, once you get used to the sights... for me a go to gun if i want cheap deadly versatility

You don't run an aug for full auto. You run it because it's cheap and incredibly accurate. If I'm not mistaken highest accuracy 5.56 gun in the game. Run it mid range for taps.
Yes, better than Adar and has a full auto for clearing buildings with hip fire.
Ran the aug for the first time last night and would have entirely killed a three man alone if i would have brought more than three mags lol. Caught the last guy in a running animation and click. Should have brought a 101 😅
I like finding barter items and bartering for guns. I think I’ll try the AUG as I can barter for it

The biggest issue with all 5.56 guns in tarkov is the ammo. It has no intermediate round. You can use and 5.45 ak with PP and be significantly better off. With 5.56 you're stuck with m855 until you unlock m856a1 via a task which only has 1 more pen than 5.45 PP.
Unlocking 556a1 takes a couple days into a wipe. And it's damage is much better then 5.45. It's not all about pen...
@@michaeljhale23 the damage between the 2 is negligible when it comes to TTK and PP is more available and much cheaper, same with the guns.
The AUG got me my 2 biggest kills this wipe in terms of loot. Didn't amount to much because a player scav 1 tapped me in the face later that raid but it still got the job done lmao

Aug is actually not the best gun they should implement to game, cause someone is waiting for it. Vz 58 would be better, it would spin ak economy af(faster, lighter, more accurate etc etc) and it does fit in tarkov enviroment just better than Aug.

G36 is a monster now.
I swear this wipe/patch was in the middle of being worked on when it was dumped out. It feels like they want guns to have more horizontal recoil, and new weapons are doing that, but haven't got back around to the old guns to fix it. Along with the "pistol flip" recoil issue it just makes guns feel bad and many just bad options to use. Maybe BSG is planning to go through them all again and fix it, but of course we have zero feedback or comments from them on it...

I tested the scar and the aug i have and the scar was way more better, i love that gun more than anything in game and irl
This is why tarkov is in such a good state imo feels like everyone has a gun they think is cool and with enough building they are all viable

in tarkov the side to side spray is fully random and doesn't have a pattern but upwards recoil has. also the scar ONLY pulls up like shown in the first test without pulling against the recoil.

Aug is awful even on semi auto with that horizontal recoil.Although G36 doesnt have any ergo on long version, its still pretty good tho. Definitely better than aug. Damn even the autoshottys have less recoil
My fps drop to 20 when I use full auto weapons so nah I haven't used it

You make a very good point but i believe recoil is only half of the deal here, when doing cqb i find the aug alot tighter on 90º degree turns, comparable to the mdr's, i find theres alot less muzzle sway compared to a scar and m4
What I do miss is GERMAN 8MM Weapons (Pistols and Rifles from the Age like MP44, Sturmgewehr 43/44 and so on, Karabiner 98K, Luger-Pistol). WHY? These Weapons are currently in use in the Ukraine War even and they are WIDE SPREAD (where also used in SYRIA War and others). So ignoring them but getting a "Mosin Nagant" is a littlebit.... well, "one sided".
It is just that they ignore COMPLETELY the German Manufractures but including a Mosin Nagant even the Karabiner 98K was far much more produced and even Licensed to other Nations. Find me a MOSIN from South America? Good Luck! But you will find a Karabiner 98/K.
They do even use Mashine Guns from 1890's in the current Ukraine War (not kidding, no matter how old it is, if it fired a Bullet wich hits you, you likely won't like it...): Maxim Guns, Pre WW1-Era...

Ironic that a gun completely made of polymer has the lowest ergo of any AR in EFT.
It's horrible recoil pattern yet again points out how out of touch the devs are with recoil in this game, there are many more options around the same price with far more manageable recoil in full auto, with the same or better calibre. Slightly better than the G36 due to it's capability in semi, but then again you have the ADR at 1/3 the price or MDR/SCAR at about the same.
in 120k you can assemble g36 that can spray and hit consistently
but aug just cant hit with full auto past 15 meter

There's a bug with peacekeeper prices right now. When you notice this, sell your intel items to him - their sale prices are basically doubled when this happens

все таки я считаю неправильно Aug за 580$, который рано открывается и у которого в цену входит коллиматор и механический прицел сравнивать с обвешанным АК-101, который стоит столько же, а открывается позже. и уж тем более сравнивать со Scar-L, который стоит 1000$ без обвесов. одиночными они стреляют одинакого. кстати версия Aug A3 действительно не стоит своих денег, доплата за сраную планку на прицеле не стоит того) вот если бы A3 поставлялась с цевьем, которого в игре еще нету - было бы интереснее.
В ауге впринципе сейчас нет смысла, можно взять ловер эмки и нацепить на него детали с адарки, одиночные не пострадают а автоогонь останется говном как на ауге
@@vanez688 тогда это цена адарки (у лыжника 45к)+цена ловера мки (20к у 2 механика) - цена ловера адарки(~5к). все равно выходит +- тоже самое, но без гемороя,статы у ауга при этом будут лучше и прицельные значительно лучше). на барахолке ауг за 40к можно купить,а мку нет).

Прицельные у ауга говно - либо пистолетная мушка, которая после каждого выстрела куда-то телепортируется, либо 1,5кратная бесполезная оптика с плохим обзором и зумом, да еще и фпс режет на половине карт. Без наличия точки хед дальше 50 метров ставить тяжело
Я уж лучше возьму адарку за 20к с барахолки, возьму ловер эмки за 20к и поставлю 3х acog, который будет стоить тыщ 14-16. Если совсем экономить чтобы соревноватся с 40к аугом то можно поставить этот Acog на ручку для переноски
