You can put all cases besides scav junk box inside items case
I would love two weapons cases, One for AK style rifles and the other for AR style rifles. Don't know if 5-6 million is worth peace of mind from a little OCD though.

Something of note, many don’t know that the “Gingy” keychain can, unsurprisingly be used as a keychain. It has a 2x2 inventory space while taking up 1x1. They are useful very early game if you spawn with them, because you can use them to take 4-8 keys in your secure container to dorms for loot, or whatever else you would need keys for
i had the gingy in my stash fpr a week before i noticed that i can open it to put keys inside

Injector case may be 1x1 but you gotta admit it is a godsend to those who don't have EoD. Having 2x2 means you cannot store a lot in them until you hit epsilon. Even then you need therapist lv3 to get some decent stim barters or the flea to use it at its fullest. If you use it just for painkillers, better use the regular ones instead.
yeah i don't like nikita nerfing things just because they are popular to use, like og painkillers being alright to use but now they take -19 hydration and only work for a short time compared to how they did before.
Bruh if you hit a map with lots of stims even if you get it full with morphine adrenaline and propital thats an easy 150k+ in 1 slot
@@lonewanderer958 people see only the profit you could get out of it in a raid and not its usefulness. Maybe if they limit only to carry stims you bring before the raid maybe will deter this practice..

One thing you didn't mention is you might want to consider keeping your weapon cases rather than bartering them for thicc weapons. The thicc weapons case can NOT go into a thicc items case but regular weapon case can. So even though you're gaining the 40 slots upgrading from regular weapons > thicc, you have to utilize stash space for it.
EDIT: neither weapons cases can't fit inside THICC evidently now
yeah but it takes up twice the space in stash for 2 weapon cases vs 1 thicc weapon case
@@bluntforce thicc is 10 space less, and 2 weapon case take up 10 space more in stash, but u have to give ammo box, so u r losing a bit, but i think its worth, just bc u can fit bigger guns inside

Thicc items full of regular weapons cases ftw. Although I must say…. It should never be necessary to hoard that many guns. Just strip all that shit and sell, keep 5-10 hard to find guns max. When cases are quest rewards, fine, but if you’re spending money on them, when you could sell what you’re storing and make money - then I think you’re doing it wrong.

I think the pistol case needs a buff tbh, increase its size to the same as either med case or the mag case, then remove the ability to store magazines by themselves, I think then it would be used, even a little by some players, perhaps those who like to frequently do sorta "zero to hero" runs or maybe rats who run a lot of pistol runs
pistol case needs to allow attachments se we can use it as an attachment case
It should be noted that piles of meds, med tools, bloodsets, and syringes can all go into the scav junkbox. They feel like medical things but they count as barter.

Should mention with the new wipe. If you turn in the “out of curiosity” quest to therapist it is not a guaranteed med case. I received an injector case as my quest reward. Great video!

Very informative and useful :) I just have to add that lots of people including Jesse are ignoring the opportunity costs - since you can buy the items for barters on the flea there is not much of a point in hunting for these items in raids, since if you just carry other stuff out of the raid and then sell it and for the profits you can buy the items you need for the barters the results are the same or even better if you carry out more valuable items. Also even if you find some items needed for the barter, but do not have all of them or don't have the barter unlocked yet then since these items will be more sought after in certain stages of the wipe you can sell them during the time where there is high demand for them and then buy them cheaper after the storm passes when you actually want to do the barter. It's a bit min-maxing strategy, but it saves money, time and stash space :)
PSA: When I built my Scav Case, the game ate my junk box that had all my quest items and valuables and not the empty one.
Yup, it takes the one you e had the longest. Happened to my mate too, lucky he had just upgraded his bitcoint farm so didn't loose 15 g cards

@@digitalacoustics5556 I've heard you can put you're full scav box in your sorting table then close the table so the game puts it back into your stash, that counts as it becoming the most recent box in your stash.... But I can't confirm this, so just make space and empty both box's 🤷 good luck 👍
@@Bean5prout I don't know how the tarkov gods blessed me with this, but I got a backend error and got my box back. I reset my game and emptied out the box for the upgrade. It took the same box but this time all my valuables were in my inventory and not the box.

i did the 150 dogtag barter for the items case, i like it. it holds all my smaller cases like money case, ammo boxes and magazine cases and it fits into a pretty nice shape/size in my stash

Items cases are amazingly useful later on in wipe. Once Ophthalmoscopes aren't as expensive, they're pretty darn cheap (just over 1 mil) and make for a lot of space to go along with the thicc cases you can "easily" get.

FYI for everyone the scav junkbox craft has increased by one mag case making it an extra 200-210K in total cost

Is the junkbox craft still worse than just buying it for money?
@@Davidpromaster I would say in most situations yea, simply due to the combined value of not just the mag cases but the 12 nuts and 17 bolts and other stuff also needed and a time saver for about 24hr of craft time on the laboratory where all of that is made, if you're doing all these crafts back to back it's horrible, as nuts and bolts are better valued for ammo crafts 5.45x39mm PP gs and 7.62x51mm M80 at workbench 2 if you run either one of those calibers.
The THICC items case is easy to get if you craft all the alcohol for the barter. Once you have a booze generator you can get them over time, I usually get about 30 or so moonshine saved up and buy the rest after crafting the whiskey and vodka.
ive seen plenty of junk boxes on the market that go for 200,000 rubles less than therapist, its all about finding the right timing in the wipe
Can we get a video on how to not lose 600k roubles worth of gear everyday when the servers shit on you and leave you at "Awaiting session start..." forever, even after Alt-F4 and attempt to relog, thus causing your PMC to be MIA? That'd be great. I've lost two loadouts like this and I've stopped playing my PMC until it's fixed. I lose 2 out of every 5 scavs to the same issue, but at least it isn't my gear and money.
I work overtime. I'm not a chad. I can't afford these kinds of losses when they're caused by shitty netcode.
Make sure you dont have any kind of vpn on, thats what always causes that issue for me.

Just started getting into Tarkov when my son wanted to check it out. I've enjoyed several of your other videos to help a noob learn. I think this video just convinced me I'm waaaaaaaaay too far behind the learning curve to keep playing. 😳 The fact you're rattling off most of this from seemingly second nature knowledge tells me I'm a few years too late to ever feel competent without grinding a full wipe to get remotely up to speed. 🤣 Good stuff regardless, appreciate the content you've put out.
Dont compare yourself to streamers mate, they are on another level. There is always something to learn in Tarkov but that shouldnt discourage you from playing. Just learn as you go and get the basics down... and be prepared to die alot :)
My buddy had two T H I C C cases and when I saw that I was impressed at the grind but after playing for like 3 wipes and only ever finding 2 hatchling moons shines in 3 wipes really puts it into perspective for me that this guy had 2 T H I C C cases

50 moonshine at 300k is 15 million. 15 ledx's is 15 mill and the other stuff is super expensive too. Im running my booze generator nonstop as i stocked up a ton of water filters and sugar. im getting 1 moonshine for about 40-60k. need about 8 more moonshine :)

we cant even play much this wipe , every time i come from work to play i have to wait for an hour to get in , and once you get in in you have time for 1 raid and 1 scav run then "bad gateway 504 error" , so we cant really focus on anything .

@@PeterGriffin-rp9iq I play EU. I choose servers that are best for me. From 80 to 100 ms ping. So cant really change much there.

Items cases can hold other cases I'm pretty sure. It can hold every case except junkbox, other items cases and thicc cases and maybe weapon cases. That's the main reason I like them, I can have all my cases in one place and have more room for armors and stuff. It might've been changed but if it hasn't then it's worth it
Pistol cases are restricted. I have 2 items cases that hold magazine, ammo, medical, food, grenade and weapon cases.

Cases seem like such basic QoL I'm always surprised by the huge grinds they lock them behind. Almost as if they had some incentive to make your inventory space suck.. oh wait.

from the POV of a standard edition player, it's incredibly painful during the early wipe until you manage to gather enough money/barters for some containers.

Yes, but if you have more than 1 junkbox when you do your lucky scav box hideout upgrade you don't get to choose which one is used. It usually takes the one you've had the longest.
Safest to empty them both/all but I've heard if you put the one(s) you want keep in your sorting table then canceling out so the game puts it back in your stash.
I still emptied mine before the upgrade though.

You cannot even start the upgrade if you don't have a completely empty one. It doesn't randomly select one or take "the oldest one" and just delete or drop all your stored items lmfao

No you don't get to chose, the game takes the scav Box you've had the longest.
I'd say to be safe make sure that both are empty, especially of Gcards etc.

@@chrisklooz9538 it does for crafts and baters, but its never let you pick which to use for hideout up dates, it's the same with FIR items, say the upgrade requires a green bat and you have more than you need but half are FIR and you want to sell them after the only way to make sure the game doesn't grab FIR ones and leave you with the one you can only sell to therapist is to put your FIR ones in your player inventory before you upgrade.
i spent 20 mins refreshing amd rephrasing for the stupid fridge case cuz i needed room in my stash.... little did i know they removed it from flea 😂 now i just gotta grind hot rods and 600k rubles to ger my jaeger up lv, fun..
new player here and im only lvl 14. so am i understanding it right that i can only sell an item on the flea market if it has a found in raid checkmark? so i should sell my non found in raid items to the normal traders?

Unless you can use it in your hideout to craft something to sell for more than the traders would give you, like chocolate bars, you turn those to sugar, then sell the sugar on the flea.

For example he mentions how you need lv 2 to purchase ammo case with rubles and somehow I completely ignored those game restrictions and bought it at player lv 4 because I thought I might need it for more room. Technically you could find a SIC case in raid if you smoked someone who had it in their rig.

Ridiculous when the levels to get the quests are so high that by that time, you could just buy the case.

My scav case was bugged for days, it kept trying to take one specific case that was full of items and gave an error and reset as if I'd never start construction. Took all items out and it worked, hope it helps someone :)
Here is what you need to do: if you have multiple junk boxes and try to construct scav case, it can take your full one instead of your empty one. Here is to prevent it:
1) open hideout
2) press tab
3) open sorting table, put in your full junk boxes, let your one empty box remain in your stash
4) press tab again
5) construct scav case
If you already constructed and it took the wrong one: press alt+f4 immediately, open launcher, clear cache, verify integrity and follow the steps above.
I think they should add a case just for attatchments, also about scav junkbox size
