The old saying "Two people can keep a secret if one of them is dead"
EXACTLY
His over-inflated ego was his undoing. THAT'S how he got caught.
He pissed off his old lady. That's a major no-no
@@pakde8002EXACTLY! ESPECIALLY after you've told her the whole story...classic screw up.

Masterminds is one of my favourite shows of all time. Brings me back to 2014 having no Wi-Fi and forced to watch the most obscure tv channels, came across masterminds one day scrolling through hundreds of free view channels 😂 absolute 💎 gem
@@stoveboltlvr3798 lmao same hereeeeeee😂🫡
Agreed
So what you watching know I love these type of shows..

Hell yeah. Go back even further to early 2000s or even 90s. Now those were the good days for me. Some of the best TV shows & Documentaries. None of Woke Queer TV Sitcoms like today. Back then they actually had a Meaning and Kept your Interest.
In a gang like this someone always talks, no matter how good the plan & the planning. Human nature
Indeed! All that planning ruined. Loose lips sink ships indeed.
As soon as they showed the coke and the party dudes I knew how it was brought down. Stupid people ruin everything!
3 people can keep a secret, if 2 of them are dead. 🧐

So, the lesson is .... always work alone!!
Greed destroys people in one way or another shame
moral lesson to men out there: the girlfriend always talks after a break up
and so does the wife.
If you have a small willy, she will tell the world!!😂🤣😂
And sometimes during the relationship
That right there shows you zero 'master' mind.😅
'If you tell someone a secret, it's no longer a secret'!

Right!
These cop thugs weren't master minds.
They were idiots. 1 big mistake after the other
Safe and well executed crime is the one done alone
You cat lift the loot alone. What criminals don't understand is that money and loot is heavy because they've never seen one.
I agree 💯

That gold scam was genius.
Just amazing how word of mouth hype on the stock market with emotion can stir things like a massive tornado from a big gust of wind to such unpresidented levels !
Already know the second story so glad they led with the bank heist episode. I never heard of this case so it was really fun seeing a dirty cop go down in classic Hollywood fashion, the perfect crime unraveled because his associates couldn't maintain a low profile and of course a jilted lover. Classic!
What happens when people believe they're above the law , only solution is apply the law equally to everybody.
Chaos is what happens.
Joe Biden happens...
Who said anything different?
Of course it's applied equally.
Stop playing games.
@@nm628679c not applied equally. Police have qualified immunity from most crimes when on duty.
they only tell you about the people that got caught remember that
Masterminds is one of the best shows of the cable TV era. I'm pleased to see it being licensed for youtube. Now I want to see American Greed do the same thing. Adapt to the times.
I'll be dayum! This is crazy 😳 and I'm shocked he got caught.
One crucial component to successful crime is to only work alone. Sooner or later someone will break silence
I agree 100%!!👍
Words to myself-
'How the hell can these crooks sleep at night when someone else knows what's occurred'??
These guys must be crazy.
End of!🥵
Not really. Because, if someone decides to turn into some sort of criminal to provide for himself and maybe just for some temporary company greedy hoas; then that equation of going the wrong way, in order to also be able to provide for others; starts right from the beginning of that same unenterprise.
"One crucial component to successful crime is to".... not be logged into your CZcams acct and admit that you know how to commit a crime haha
😂
You can’t do that alone dude 😂😂😂😂
They always get caught yet some idiots still commit crimes!
Greed is the fuel for corruption
A crooked arrogant cop?
I'm shocked.
Why???
He wasn't a very good mastermind if he got caught 😂😂
It's not the mastermind aspect that gets them caught... it's the greed
The one that gets caught never is a mastermind he is just an amateur
😂😂😂this just how you white folks is it's kool when y'all do it but it's ah problem when we do it, i Guess these guys didn't have a farther at home ha,,😂
Exactly! You didn't pull anything off if it got unraveled
Ten years served only got $200K no word on whether he had to pay restitution AND lost his cop salary/Pension. Big L

Joe Biden?
@@nobutur nobutur you are a MAGA clown? Shame on you for your ignorance
Why was Clemente a suspect off the bat? He was a Captain in the police force! They suspected he was corrupt all along? Why still keep him around then?
I didn't understand that bit either... Seems like they completely skipped narrating the process of clemente getting in the crosshair
He was a suspect for multiple reasons. For one it wasn’t his police force investigating the crime, it was the FBI. The reputation as a whole for corrupt police in those departments wasn’t a secret so a force like the FBI suspected them. He was also a suspect because the robbery pointed to inside knowledge - an outsider wouldn’t have known of the specifics like they did such as the alarm or the steps to break into the vault. He was also on duty that weekend. So it’s not necessarily that his force always knew, although they probably did, but it was the FBI. The other challenge is they’re so locked into their union that it isn’t easy to simply fire them. They’d need a strong amount of proof of corruption to fire him so rumors and hunches wouldn’t have been enough fo just kick him off. Suspicions don’t account for much if you can’t rock solid prove them otherwise the union is gonna fight you off.
Lol! A woman scorned...... Guess he never heard that.
These corrupt cops were doomed from the moment they planned to steal from the back....the curse got them....
Funny How The Pigs Turned On Each Other 😂😂😂

All police officers are not dirty / bad but I wish the good ones would call out the bad ones. Don't let the bad ones hide amongst you tarnishing your reputation.
Not all, just most
You'll find that cops generally do NOT hide their guilty colleagues.
If you understood their hierarchy and the mafia like masonic codes that they've sworn to live by then you'd understand that their *all* bad and dirty cops by default. For civilians, the Police use terms like conspiracy, knowingly, accessory, negligent, and attempted to prosecute people who knew, saw, and or allowed a crime to take place and did nothing about it, and yet you'd still afford them a leniency they do *not* afford you!
Remember serpico
You what you bet 😂😂😂
Just one last big score …
nothing worse than a corrupt cop
Yes their is a corrupt government.
Corrupt judge
@kevinbroadway5398 - how about a treasonous, corrupt, money hungry president ... using authority to go after political opponents ?! Ehhh?

More master minds. I love this show!
There's a movie very similar to their 10 million dollar heist. It's called the Bank Job. The way they did it is almost exactly the same as the movie
Bank Job was in Britton. They knew how to rob banks and trains
The Bank Job was an awesome movie!
The only perfect crime is when you don't get caught.
If you're going to be a criminal-
You cannot have a gf or wife. You cannot do drugs. You shouldn't have a partner.
If you can't give these things up do not be a cri.inal or it will be taken from you anyways.
Maybe just don't be a criminal. If your willing to do that much work- go to freaking work.

Decades of inside corruption the police system has lost any respect I may have had
Moral of the story
When dealing with women.......if it's not her business..... don't tell her
Obviously you have no morals. Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.
"The problem we faced was, is that..."
Man, that's some dumb stuff to say 😂
that lawyer should probably be disbarred.
Too many hands in the soup. An attempt like this takes too many people. 3 people can keep a secret they say if two are dead. Now you add three more to the equation?
these Masterminds shows are very interesting watching
Only ten years? So the crime paid. what a joke.
Any cop that commits Multiple felonies like this should got life without parole. Somebody call the cops they stoled all the "R's" in this episode
Stoled?
You sit behind the badge and commit crime you don't deserve to be called a cop. These aren't real cops. They're just criminals pretending to be one.

Being from the Boston area I can remember when this happened.
My grandparents owned Pauline's donut shop on the Medford Winchester line. They were there for 40+ years. I remember my dad talking to my mom about how the bank was robbed and that my Nana was going to loose out on a large portion of their money. Reason being was FDIC only insured up to a certain amount.
Nice plans I guess lol
FDIC still only insures only a certain amount.

Funny the way they say 10 million in cash and jewels were gone there’s 0 way to determine that amount , people do not say what’s in the safety deposit box’s .. that’s the point of them you can put anything in there. Drugs and all kinds . Money you don’t want people knowing about .. most gangsters keep their money in these ! Lots of people don’t even come forward when these places get robbed because they know their stuff is illegal 😂
Most banks do not allow cash to be stored in safety deposit boxes specifically because the chances of it being dirty is high.
If the money is clean you'd just deposit it.
@@chrisbgoodv2178 the banks do not know what your putting in a safety deposit box that’s the point.. they leave the room when your putting your items in.. your left completely alone in there! Same when your opening your box ! My dad has got one

They do not come in the room with you when your putting in what you want into your safety deposit box. That’s the whole point of it, they open it with you you use a key they use a key. Then they leave! You call them when you want to lock the box! You can put anything you want inside them box’s they don’t have a clue! My dad has got a load of cash inside 🫣 but yeah I’m a child and I’m talking nonsense, but you know everything and have never owned or been in a safety deposit room in your life 😂😂😂
@@chrisbgoodv2178 it’s literally against the law for the bank teller to be in the room when you open your box.. go look it up! In America it’s against federal law for them to be in the room! So you may want to check your facts before you talk absolute nonsense on CZcams 🫣 I take it your American?
the statute of limitations might be up on the bank robbery but the IRS could charge him with tax evasion

he wants his police pension!!
This is typical police behavior even today.
This is reminding me of the story of Agent Force from KiraTV's more recent dark web video. It's not a story all about him but it depicts as the worst person in the story because of what he did.
Wonder how much of Wallstreet is in the same condition?
And he wants his pension too lol
I’m glad that not very many criminals are as smart and disciplined as these guys were. Pretty impressive actually.

Do the editors know that is more interesting produce the video according to the natural process of the investigation?
How fun would it be to be a policeman in the 70s? As long as you were not sadistic. it had to be a bit and intoxicating to be able to do whatever you want his back then they absolutely did.
I'm thinking the evidence room was short changed more than a few times.
The producers showed them using a wood bits
It would require a hammer gun to get through the concrete
Caustic acid makes concrete effortlessly crumble away so all that concrete means nothing 😂 (I paid attention in science class)
I remember a story on the news here about an honest geologist getting pushed out of a helicopter to his death. I can't remember now if that was Indonesia or PNG. I guess it may have been Michael de Guzman pulling yet another deception.
