Somehow her costumes steals her lines & some movement visuals, imo.
I thought the same thing. The costume covered her legs and most of the steps, robbing the audience of the beauty of the movements. It’s incredible that the dancers didn’t complain about the horrid costumes.
I thought the same thing too. They are excellent dancers but both costumes are unattractive and especially hers. You can't see her line at all. The "hats" also are superfluous!

They're Both exquisite dancers. Its unfortunate that wardrobe seems to be more important than witnessing her lines. I can still see them because I'm a dancer. However the untrained eye would have no clue? They work too hard to have their technique robbed & concealed that way.🙄
The costumes appear to be very heavy, prohibitive to movement and tiring to perform in.

A few of the partnering couplings seemed a little off. Yeah, I don't think I liked her stiffer fabric skirt. However, this couple looked great together: very romantic, the right age, the right difference in their looks, the acting. I think they make a very good team. I'd like to see more of them together.

C’est tellement dommage que les costumes soient ratés...c’est pastel ,c’est des fois avec peu d’idées.pour bien la connaître je ne la retrouve pas et pour bayadère c’est ennuyeux.j’espère qu’avec le temps les danseuses et la couture de la scala amélioreront des petites choses qui pourront être plus élégantes.notamment la tenue de l’acte 1 de nikya.un lamé a peine fendu,quasi rien sur la tête (c’est la déesses sacré)bon c’est ainsi
