they sell a tool called "cable luber" made mostly for motorcycles, but I'm sure it would work on any cable.. basically you clamp the tool at the end of the cable,and spray some lube in the tool, forcing the liquid to go trough the entire cable.. you basically spray until it drips from the other side of the cable and you are done. Did it several times on motorcycles/ATVs and it always worked!

We're just "buggin'" about it since we know your propensity to half-ass things. We know you're capable of doing it right, and we'd like to see it. Throttle cable and belts are first priority, then air filter. Safety for you and safety for the turbo and engine. I don't think those are trivial things.

I just cringe when I see them doing unsafe things or when they skimp on something as relatively inexpensive as an air filter. Just want these guys to be safe and happy, as well as keeping a machine together with a simple air filter. Again, my apologies for sounding “dickish.”

Yep. You def are going to need both an air filter and a pre-filter to prevent sand and dirt from entering your turbo. Amsoil makes some great filters and pre-filters.
Kyle. The throttle cable is similar to outboard engine controls. What I do to lube them is hose clamp a price of fuel line that is a few ft long over one end. Use a syringe to fill fuel line with oil then an air compressor to force the oil through cable until it come out other end. Hope this works 👌
